A nice mix from about mid 96. Short but sweet yet funky and fun. A lot of the usual suspects, with a few different ones just to mix things up nicely. Absolutely live,..Enjoy!!     Sorry about the end bit, I got distracted and the tape switched back.

A beautiful slice of history, and a permanent reminder of just how good Pete Wardman and Trade was [and still is] He brought it down at the start, then after nearly 12 hours on the floor, with the sweat pouring off us, the set went into orbit and finished with TdV [doubled up!] at over 165bpm The phazeing [flangeing?] isn`t post production, it was done on the night. Still, to this day, the most intense musical experience I`ve ever had. It`s a 17 year old tape, forgive the gaps for the ad-breaks taken out, worse still the ones left in but what can you do? Just enjoy it and remember the good times, that`s what!!....Absolutely incredible,..a thing of beauty is a joy forever. [Keats]

Pete Wardman live at Trade 3 Part 1

From one of Tony`s Saturday night shows, no info on the tape, judging by the tunes played, it`s either very late 97 or very early 98. Lots of acetates, promos and pre-releases. As with all of his shows, he`s on brilliant form, totally enjoying what he does

V. Important,..it`s in 4 parts [double tape pack] Give it a few seconds and the next part will load automatically, do all 4, it just builds and builds!!.. Very rare, very Tony, verrry Tony at Trade. Definitely live.  Lots of late 97 tunes but I`m sure it`s early 98 because of Who is Elvis? which I`m sure wasn`t released until late 98. Tony would have been playing it a good few months in advance of course so was probably breaking it in about then. Also, one of only a couple of times you`ll ever hear him play Whoosh on a mix tape, absolutely stunning!! I had to do my best with the sound quality, it was recorded with the top end [treble] off the scale, really tinny, I re-recorded it with the treble at -8 and it`s still there. It sounds way better turned up loud or on headphones. Just enjoy the flow of the set, the tunes, the mixing and the memories it brings back. Turn it up proper loud!!
