In this, my second Wayne Dyer mix, I chose to use messages from his best selling book and lecture titled "Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling". Here Dr. Dyer speaks about the voice of inspiration within each and every one of us and how to follow this voice that is calling us to be in alignment with our highest selves. My favorite quote from this piece is; "It's on it's way", which refers to having faith that our dreams and visions will become a reality through inspired living.

All I can say about is that [purely by chance] it got me through a particularly shitty time in my life 20 years ago. However the lessons learnt got me through some real traumas that were to follow. Treat it like a weird album, the likes of which you have never heard before. Some bits will make sense, some won`t, but it`s worth persevering with. The first part is the instructive bit, it will tell you a lot about you, the second part is just like mental floss, a mental excercise to clear out the shit.

I made a track featuring the words of Wayne Dyer from his movie "The Shift: Taking Your Life from Ambition to Meaning."

I started making this before his recent passing, and it seemed appropriate to finish it now. I really don't know what to think or what to say, but I know how to make music. I canceled my plans to stay up late at home to finish this track. I guess this is my way of honoring him and expressing my love for his incredible spirit.
Wayne is one of the most influential people in my life. I've watched this movie by myself about 12 times and highly recommend checking it out along with anything else you can find of him online or in his books (especially if you're into New-Age spirituality and specifically Taoism.)

Having written 30+ internationally acclaimed books (many of which being best sellers), plus countless appearances on public television and seminars he is often referred to as the father of motivation. The messages in this mix were taken from one of his newer works titled "Excuses Be Gone".
