This mix has been on my Mixcloud for some time, but thought it would be good to have on here as it's downloadable! I did this mix back in lockdown as an extension of a livestream set I had done for Movin House a few weeks before. Tripoli for me was THE label in the mid to late 90s and early part of the 2000s, and I played pretty much every release. So here's my six hour tribute of my favourites and hope yours too!

As with all of the sets in the series, Pete Wardman is last one on at Trade, manages to pull the bpms down to let it rip and take it back up again. A proper set. Check out the mix into Mistakes,...flawless. As always, there are 2 parts, definitely check out the second part as this is where it goes into overdrive. As it was recorded off Kiss, the gaps are where the ads used to be. Headphones on,..turn it up and enjoy! Great days!!

01 - Pete Wardman live at Trade - 2  Pt2

Once again, nicely brought down in BPMs by Pete Wardman to squeeze in the tunes he wanted to play, then brought it back up through the gears again. Lovely to hear Schlangenline and Mass Hysteria played and despite the breaks, his mix into, and out of TdV`s mix of Don`t Laugh is still awesome. Sorry about the adbreaks and the gaps where the missing ones are. If I`d known 16 years ago, I would have taken more care. Still, another brilliant moment in time captured forever. As always, there are 2 parts, so make sure to do both. Headphones on and enjoy!

Another DJ I really admire, her sets at Trade were sublime. Some great tracks on here, the mixing wanders a little in places but she catches them time. A nice piece of history nontheless. Her Trade sets were faultless and tight as anything. I really wish she was still playing as a lot of the current hard NRG would really suit her. As always, there are 2 sides so play both. Any info would be greatly appreciated, all it says on the tape is 4am and 8am. A couple of Trade babies used to regularly get tapes from the people at Trade as they were connected, this one came via EJ Doubell. Judging by the tunes, I`m thinking early to mid 94. Some real crackers on here and originals that went on to be sampled as future classics. Out of the recent batch of Peter`s FF tapes, this set, for me, is my favourite. Nicely off the beaten track once again but also with a slightly harder edge than normal. Perfect! He`ll probably disagree as he`s stuck in 94 lol  I think it really flows and has a great sense of purpose and extra energy to it. Many thanks to Barry Williams for the tape. As always, when part 1 finishes, wait 10 seconds and part 2 will load automatically,...enjoy,..I did! x

Listen to this! Once again, as rare as a very rare thing, definitely him, definitely live at Trade. Early to mid 95, some wicked choices and combinations, proper quality! Again, only 45 mins long, the second half of his set, but still a beautiful find [I`ll boost the sound in a couple of weeks and replace the file] Think about what he would have been playing up and down the country all weekend and to then turn up at Trade and just let rip, no wonder he said that he had a record box purely for the ones he was going to play at Trade. Many thanks to Barry Williams for the tape and apologies in advance to Trade for nicking the photo.
