The pandemic has been taking its toll on our mental and emotional energy, with my family and friends experiencing loss after loss after loss. It's been heavy, and even more so I am seeing the tremendous importance of getting true soul rest. There's no replacement to the natural recovery system that we are already designed with.

i wrote this at a time when i was drowning in my questions, but yet there was still a mustard seed of faith left.. even in spite of my unfaithfulness and faithlessness, the Lord remains faithful.. He so goood

i chose this title then because of my gratitude for what john 3:16 says. "whosoever believes" i don't have to be great, pretty, smart or cool.. His arms are open wide towards whoever comes after Him. 😭

Ancient Of Days (reimagined)

Two tracks of Sequential Trigon-6, running through the upcoming ValhallaRoom update. 

The bass/chord track is using ValhallaRoom's new Space parameter to create a rhythmic echo, by routing feedback around the predelay and early reflections. As the track progresses, the Space parameter is turned up to increase the feedback, the Depth control is increased to add more reverb, and the new Low Cut parameter is turned up to thin out the lower frequencies in the reverb/echo.

The lead track is running through ValhallaRoom, with Space turned up high and a longer Early Size, to create a reverb based solely around the Early Reflections. The Depth parameter is set at 0%, which means we are only hearing the Early section of the reverb.

i wouldn't say i'm great at this contentment thing, but i am just wanting to cultivate a humble, grateful, honest and worshiping heart before the Lord. it is such a wonder that we are known and heard by a supreme Being who wants to relate with us in intimate relationship so much, that He would give His Son for our ransom.
