I really like how you change the key (at least in terms of the ear's resolution) from C in the verses to F in the chorus; I presume you consider this in F.  Favorite single chord is the D: unexpected, but sounds totally correct.  That's virtually your biggest release sonically.  You've got some wonderful lyrics here, too.  Favorite there is the 1st 4 lines of the 2nd verse; nice, non-clichéd imagery by using 'breath' and 'whisper.'

Since I've heard so many of your songs fully produced, I'm certainly curious to hear how this might morph once you start truly arranging it. Possibly even replacing the piano as the main countermelody once the 2nd verse begins?  Bringing back in smaller snippets to keep the consistency, like short riffs.  Something like that.

Yeah, as expected you hit the ground running with steller production and top notch arrangement. Shades of pink floyd in some of theses progressions... thats a good thing, not mimicry, just harnessing some of that ingenuity and unexpected movement
