My name is Mark Khaladj-Oates i live in Barnsley an old mining town in South Yorkshire, UK. My alter ego projects name is FUNKYBATCH 

I have been in quite a few bands in the past but this has given me the freadom to play and sing whatever i want with no compromise. 

WEEKEND IS FREE is my debut single and i have more tracks to release while I'm finishing off my album.

Influences range from Mozart to Frank Zappa. 

The track WEEKEND IS FREE has a feel of Happy Mondays, Gorillas, Reverend And The Makers, Kasabian, Ian brown, New Order, Mighty Boosh... who are also influences on my musical landscape. 

The Single is released on all major music platforms for streaming and download on 12/04/21.
