John Mark is an American author, producer and classical music authority working in  music and film. He has been recording and performing classical music, as well as working in feature film since 1976 in Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles.

He is the author of theatrical screenplays such as "Golden Voyage" trilogy, "Deathblow – The Romanoff Empire", "After The Rainfall" and "Liszt & Chopin In Paris" epic film he is now setting up for production.

His genre includes science-fiction, historical drama and contemporary drama.

In addition to writing the screenplay for "Liszt & Chopin In Paris" John Mark has also recorded a 4-CD (AR promo-soundtrack) album in preparation for the film now scheduled for production with subsequent release of the film in 2024.

Mr. Mark has studied classical piano and composition with Prof. Nadia Boulanger at the Paris Conservatory and film directing and writing at IDHEC (Paris) as well as at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.

IDHEC/Paris and Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome have trained many prominent filmmakers including Louis Malle, Alain Resnais, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Costa Gavras, Arnaud Desplechin, Pascale Ferran, while Italian masters such as Antonioni, deSica, Fellini, Pasolini taught generations of filmmakers in Rome.

Today, IDHEC is known as La Fémis renamed in 1988 to École Nationale Supérieure des Métiers de l'Image et du Son, and Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia remains Europe's leading cinematography center.

Mr. Mark speaks English and French and has received numerous acknowledgements for his contribution to classical music and specifically for LISZT & CHOPIN IN PARIS film.
