Italian producer and DJ @da_lukas_tracks has a long pedigree in the music industry, cutting his teeth on the release front way back in the early 00's having success under a variety of monikers. 

Since then his music has gently morphed into his current Nu Disco sound for which he is known today and it continues to ebb and flow from disco edits through to completely original Nu disco gems. His latest release see's him land on @ghetto-disco-records with the Real Thing EP which was crafted using a live musicians. The warmth and depth of sound and the endless groove across the EP highlights this perfectly. 

Indeed soundwise the EP is Nu Disco fused with the funk of dancefloor Acid Jazz and it's the perfect antidote to the impending winter up here in the northern hemisphere. Our premier today is Free And Happy with it's ever so funky guitar and keys bouncing back and forwards perfectly across each other. This is a brilliant release for both label and artist showing just how dexterous a producer Da Lukas is. Everyone who knew Danielle all say what a lovely, talented, funny, genuine and humble person she was. Danielle was all about proper, amazingly-produced, dance music, with heart, soul and her amazing voice. She is a huge loss to many people, but her brilliant musical legacy will live on. Rest in peace, Danielle Moore.

We are also delighted to welcome this week’s special guest, highly regarded DJ and producer from Germany, Andy Bach. With countless releases on labels such as King Street, Tropical Disco, Midnight Riot, Salted Music, Spa in Disco and loads more, Andy’s guest mix is not to be missed!

Funk Inc. - Just Don't Mean A Thing [The Reflex Revision]

Don't know about anyone else but I'm getting more disillusioned with SoundCloud with every change they make. The new algorithm and its 'recommendations' ignore mixes and any tracks over 10 mins, they've removed the New & Hot charts and replaced them with irrelevant crap like "Events near you", and this new UI has me searching for a way to revert it.
