Don't know about anyone else but I'm getting more disillusioned with SoundCloud with every change they make. The new algorithm and its 'recommendations' ignore mixes and any tracks over 10 mins, they've removed the New & Hot charts and replaced them with irrelevant crap like "Events near you", and this new UI has me searching for a way to revert it.

Dublin-based beat maker and DJ influenced by Jazz,Latin,House,Soul,70's and 80's and all that good stuff. Myself and friends formed a DJ collective called Groovement Soul in early 2000's.

\\\ Lupita Screams ist eine Independent Band, die sich Anfang der 90er in Karlsruhe gründete und bis zu ihrer Auflösung 1995 in unveränderter Besetzung spielte. /// Der Name bezieht sich auf einen gleichnamigen Song der Band 'Gun Club'. Wie einige andere Bands aus der damaligen Independent Szene experimentierte auch Lupita Screams im Fahrwasser gitarrenlastigen Indie-Rocks mit stilistischen Mischformen aus unterschiedlichen Genres wie Punk, Heavy, Wave oder Jazz. Dieser Stilmix wurde wiederum von einer charakteristischen Frauenstimme zusammengehalten. /// Die energiegeladene Debut-CD 'Teenage Tears' wurde 1993 im Eigenverlag herausgebracht. /// In der zweiten Schaffensphase wartete die Band mit transparenteren, von Pop-Elementen durchzogenen Songs auf, die mit teilweise eklektischen Stilmischungen und abrupten Themenwechseln arbeiteten. /// Diese Stücke wurden von Joachim Ebel im Oktober 1994 im Keller der 'Steffi', dem damals einzigen besetzten Haus in Karlsruhe, aufgenommen. /// Während in der Zwischenzeit der Grunge-Hype Europa gänzlich erfasst hatte und Independent eigentlich bereits Geschichte war, beschlossen die Musiker 1995 ihrer eigenen Wege zu gehen und lösten die Band auf.
