Mathame’s highly-anticipated ‘Nothing Around Us’ arrives on Afterlife Recordings this September 7th.

The richly talented duo Mathame featured on the second Realm Of Consciousness compilation and have since been regulars in the sets of Tale Of Us with some sought-after, unreleased tracks. Their distinctive treatment of vocals marks their tracks out instantly, nowhere more so than on ‘Nothing Around Us’, with the cyber voice of the young Italian artist Lyke. The top quality production and original sound continue with the more understated ‘22’ and end with another prime example of Mathame’s vocal work, ‘Fade Into You’. This EP is a bold statement that crystallises the well-deserved excitement around Mathame.

Mathame refine their singular sound on ‘Skywalking’ and a collaboration with Tale Of Us, ‘Departure’.
Following 2018’s ‘Nothing Around Us’ single, Mathame show no sign of slowing down. Their Afterlife Recordings follow up is a dancefloor single of epic proportions, taking the duo further into a realm of their own. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements. In the case of ‘Skywalking’ it reaches an uplifting, euphoric crescendo, in Tale Of Us’ intro edit of ‘Departure’ the theme goes darker and off-kilter. Bona fide anthems in the sets of Mathame and Tale Of Us.

Hier kommt, wenn auch etwas spät, unser Set vom Artlake Festival 2019. Am wunderschönen Bergheider See, haben wir unseren Saisonabschluss durchlebt und können gar nicht in Worte fassen, was das für ein krasser Festival Sommer war!

Dieses Mal zackiger und nicht mit weniger Freude gemixt, besteht diese Zusammenstellung aus Tracks, die uns durch diesen unglaublichen Sommer begleitet haben und auf jeden Fall von Herzen kommen.

A year after the release of Adriatique’s debut LP, ‘Nude’, Afterlife presents a seven-track remix package to breathe new life into the originals.

The album found Adriatique, the duo of Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, explore a more downtempo, contemplative sound than they were known for. Its profound musicality makes rich source material for a set of dancefloor interpretations, which Tale Of Us have curated together with Adriatique for the label’s 30th release.

Der liebenswerte Moji verzaubert die Menschen um sich herum nicht nur mit seinem Wesen, sondern auch mit seiner tief emotional geprägten Musikauswahl. Sein Gespür für Tiefe und Fluss hat sich mittlerweile über Jahre bewährt und er gehört zu den absoluten Spitzenreitern unter den "Ethno-Sounds-Künstlern". 

Dies stellt er auch mit diesem Mix unter Beweis, die Tracks fließen fast unmerklich ineinander und erzählen dabei eine stimmige und emotionale Geschichte. Melodisch, warm, ehrgeizig, aber bescheiden.

Exclusive Yubik 'Stray From The Path'

Straight out of Berlin Radikon is readying its annual label compilation 'Retro II', which goes into its second round with ten exclusive tracks from label mainstays and newcomers. To shorten the wait until the final release of the compilation Munich based artist duo Yubik holds its track 'Stray From The Path' available, providing club-goers and headphone-listeners with their daily dose of melo-vibes. The tracks follows a distinct build-up setting things off with a lush bass line that is enriched with catchy chords, which easily bore their ways into one's mental areas before it starts playing tricks on you as it digs deeper and deeper until it releases your mind into melodical fulfillment – or in short, the track's break(down). After 'Stray From The Path' picks up the aforementioned pace and extends its spectrum by adding diverse creaky sounds turning into an on-going artistic piece of club music.

'Retro II' will be released on Radikon on November 29th, 2019.

The emotionally stirring sound of Mathame is back on Afterlife.

Their signature, processed vocals shine on the infectious and entrancing ‘For Every Forever’. It’s a sound they have developed over their releases for Afterlife and is now truly their own. A Dub Mix of the title track offers a slightly more pared down alternative. ‘Stairway 3000’ completes the record, an eyes-down roller with a bassline to shake any room to its core.
