RuPaul Vs. Rick James Vs. Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Freaking Hands Up For Drag Race

I venture into my voluminous vault of vinyl and bring you old-timey-vibe tracks on dusty and worn wax.

Mister Anachronista

This mix is far more conceptual than my previous mixes. At the risk of becoming a parody of myself, for this project I wanted compile a collection of somber songs that evoked the image of a circus performer's wake at the beginning of the 20th century.


  
      When I started compiling the tracks I started off with a far more cartoony approach but as it developed it matured a little. I've tried to keep a balance between the two and tried not to stray too far into score or ambient territory. 


  
      It's not intended to be time accurate nor for the lyrics to be directly related to the theme but I hope they all tie together and you enjoy it. There really are some beautiful songs to be found here.
  
      

The Wirewalker's Wake

A collection of songs that fall under the banner of Electro-Swing or somewhere roundabouts.

With one foot in the past and the other planted in the present, let this anachronistic mix tickle your time travelling nether-regions.

            Markabre spins the mutated waxy detritus of every Eurasian diaspora. A time-traveling sideshow of audio oddities is condensed for your listening pleasure into a set as tight and sharp as a well polished curse. Simultaneously evocative of eras past and man-about-town modern, his selections bely his pickpocket scoundrel youth as he selects only the choicest musical marks for a hit.


  
            Few others have played to such a diverse range of audiences and events making him a shoe-in for any leading man role on the decks. Combine this extensive experience of working with live theatre and performances, giving an ability to construct sets which flow seamlessly around other entertainment.


  
            It pains such a modest man to mention it, but it would fair to warn the ladies, and some gentlemen, of Markabre's devilishly dark good looks which have been known to inflame audiences beyond the bounds of fire regulations.


  
            He is survived by four wives, eighty-nine children and a trained capuchin monkey named Basil.
