These are not mere words. These are words of aplomb coming from Joshua Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Josh Blakk.
Such mania is usually emitted by unique talents who are heading into legendary. Josh is a prototype of such great talents with so much potential.
He is music and music is him. The symbiotic relationship between him and music has made him a friend to all genres.
However, in every skill, there is a special mastery. Josh has specialised in an invention he calls “High Soul” – a mixture of Highlife and Soul Music, composed with a rhythm of Highlife infused with soulful melodies and or Soulful rhythms and 
Within the ambit of his career, Josh is recogniced as a Singer / Songwriter, Producer/Composer, voice coach and a Multi-Instrumentalist. He is a Musician with one of the most angelic voices ever gifted to mankind.
Veteran musicians argue that every “acclaimed” musician must be able to play at least one musical instrument. If this assertion were a test, then Josh Blakk would be a synonym to excellence. He is talent personified. He makes a remarkable confession that the skill of playing the keyboard, Guitar, Flute, Drums, and other musical instruments came naturally.
Finding such an astute character in music is seldom, especially in this age of technology where several musicians cannot identify with a single musical instrument.
A journey of thousand miles begins with a step. He took a step into music at the age of five. However, the real take-off came from the exposure of serving his church with good music at the age of thirteen.
Treating audiences with good music is his maxim. His life has been defined around music. His creativity is rare. Whichever instrument he touches, he makes it cry differently and pampers it with a soothing voice that the passing ears cannot resist.
Making tough sacrifices and endurance is a requirement for chasing a longing dream. To prove the inseparable connection between music and his soul, Josh unilaterally abdicated his Course (Economics) at the Central University College to pursue a musical project.
Josh has left a mark on the platforms of several reality shows. He went to Vodafone Icons (The mixed Edition) with his team (Waves) and placed third.
He was the only Ghanaian to represent Ghana at the Project Fame in Nigeria in 2012.
His persistence, hard work and certitude won him the KLM @ 55 singing Competition. The perks of emerging victorious saw him taking a trip to Amsterdam. Josh has been described as an excellent leader and team player. This is evident in his inevitable contribution to several groups he either initiated or associated.
His foresight coaxed him to evolve Waakye Band, a rebrand of the JNJ Band. The band was a delight to watch on several prestigious platforms.
As a songwriter, his pen can boast of putting not less than seventy-five songs on paper of which some have been recorded and others to be done in due time.
With all the experiences in the industry so far, his greater expectations makes him modest.
“I am nowhere near my goals”, he confessed.

Nyfa is a project by Alexandra Ukonu, cellist and singer from Basel, Switzerland. With her songs, she takes the listener on a musical journey and invites everyone to leave the old behind. She writes songs about social phenomena and enjoys inspiring people to think critically.

Over the last seven years, Alexandra has gathered experience in the music business. With her former band, she worked with producer Pola Roy - drummer of the band Wir Sind Helden - and played many shows all over Europe.
