Gonna be from all angles so expect some acid house, electro, techno, grime, jungle, bleep, hardcore and related dirty bass as well as the odd bit of disco funk and groove. A vital cog in London’s modern underground, @dj_tasha is celebrating 15 years of her @neighbourhood-music club night with a string of parties this summer. Having come up through the thrilling crossover era of the 2010s, she's folded her d&b roots and deep affinity for techno into an urgent, in-demand sound that keeps her on the road. 

Alongside a stellar sample of her craft recorded at a recent residency night at Open Ground in Wuppertal, she speaks to Oli Warwick about the peaks and troughs of promoting, her friendship with the late Marcus Intalex, and why socks are at the heart of Neighbourhood's family atmosphere.

A techno track at 126bpm with excerpts from JFK's inspiring inaugural presidential speech. Deep dubby and rumble sounds in the first half of the track create a moody atmosphere before and energetic vibe shift to an acid bass uptempo close to the song that starts at 03:26 and builds to a climax at 04:27. This song is inspired by the optimism and excitement of the space race in the 1960s.
