The producer, sometimes live performer & DJ has seen praise across the seas, with releases on Early Reflex, DECISIONS and 3bs, as well as regular plays by Batu, M.E.S.H., object blue, AYA, Laksa & many more.

'Zero Trust' is track 2/2 of the release. Regularly switching between half & doubletime, 'Zero Trust' is like a soft, gooey centre at the core of any good dance floor. Textured, building and unpredictable, it seems to do everything bar physically lifting you off your feet.

Of the release, Hence Therefore shared: "The EP title is a phrase I came across in Rebecca Solnit's A Paradise Built In Hell - she writes that in a catastrophe most of us get on with helping each other with the necessities of life while the rich & powerful freak out about law, order & commerce... "

& of the track: "Some string-flourishing sample from the All Centre discord server got shredded into icy dancehall groove with a randomised arpeggiator. An uncharacteristically crisp & whirring stepper developed around it - playfully wrong-footed low end, attempted snare abstinence, snare indulgence, caroline_gasp.wav, things of this nature."

👟Stutter Step is a new music radio show at @radiostudent and movement led by @marka_san7 . He will focus on exploring the footwork juke music that originated from Chicago. In the radio show, we will host local and foreign guest mixes by active producers, we will play old and new products of footwork and juke, as well as related sub-genres, such as jungle and ghettotek. The purpose of the radio show is to bring the phenomenon of this music closer to the local audience and to encourage local producers to send us music, so that together we can spread the love for footwork and give it a local stamp on the map. Stutter Step E002 w. Marka San

Tomás Urquieta, born in Chile and based in New York City, creates a unique fusion of bass music and techno. His sonic style is consistently powerful and structurally unconventional, yet immensely danceable. ‘Ai Ferri Corti’, his third album, is packed with high-energy club tracks that showcase his innovative take on techno, seamlessly incorporating Latin American rhythmic influences. The record, set for release on Herrensauna on March 7, 2025, unfolds a narrative on the fragility of logic, the unveiling of hidden truths, and the collapse of established structures. Throughout ‘Ai Ferri Corti’, Urquieta explores chaos and the mind, with the tension between order and disorder, between reason and abstraction, forming the central axis. Each of the track titles, infused with philosophical undertones and technological references, reinforces this conceptual complexity and evokes reflections on the nature of being, perception, chaos, and logic—shaping a seven-track experience that challenges conventional thinking.

Bio:
Known for his innovative, experimental soundscapes and intricate sample-based production skills, Mark Divjak (AKA Marka San) has been making waves in the industry for over a decade. The Slovenian bass music producer and DJ first gained prominence as one-half of the now-disbanded dubstep duo DubDiggerz but has since then built a successful solo career, furthering his already considerable impact on the scene. Their music debuted on esteemed labels such as GourmetBeats, run by North America's foremost Dubstep veteran Joe Nice, J:Kenzo's Artikal Music UK, Plant Power Records, Navy Cut, TRUSIK, DUPLOC and many more, spanning around eleven years of active duty and countless heavyweight basslines.

Launched in late 2020, Marka San's musical output as a DJ and producer breaks musical restraints and forms a genre-bending compound of Grime, Footwork, Dubstep, Jungle, Hip-Hop, and Electro. Founder of the renowned Dubstep imprint "DeepEnd!" and latest label creation "NO KLAN" Recordings, blurring genre boundaries in favour of musical freedom. A prolific collaborator and tastemaker through and through, Marka San also maintains two (bi-)monthly radio show residencies at Radio Noods (UK) and Radio Student (SLO), continuously showcasing his talents as a curator and selector. On top of an array of well-received releases on his imprints, notable achievements include an outing on the internationally acclaimed label Deep, Dark & Dangerous and Slovenian arts & culture hub "RX:TX".
