Rien qu’à l’évocation de ce nom, le mollet frétille, la croupe ondoie, le chef dodeline…
Il y a fort à parier que cette clôture de festival sera « wet and bouncy » tant l’animal n’a pas son pareil pour transformer son auditoire en une des plus dignes écoles de samba de Copacabana.
Fulgeance est un dancefloor killer. C’est plus qu’un son, c’est une onomatopée visuelle, une interjection corporelle…
Pourtant, rien de visu ne laisse présager dans la personnalité du tranquille Pierre (c’est son petit nom dans le civil), une telle réserve d’énergie… Il faut dire que s’il est seul en scène, ils sont sacrément nombreux dans sa tête : Peter Digital Orchestra, Connecticut, Souleance… c’est lui aussi.
Ce DJ producteur polymorphe, prolifique et schizophrénétique manie platines et sampleur (MKII et MPC2000, “Old school !!!” s’écrieront les connaisseurs!) avec maestria. Le groove chevillé au corps, il délivre un slow beat puissant allié à l’efficacité club (no need MC) au point de devenir en quelques mois et au fil des tournées le porte étendard d’une enthousiasmante scène du nouveau, new, novo hip-hop français. Accompagné du foisonnant aréopage du label « Musique Large », il sillonne la France, l’Europe, le Canada, L’Amériqueuuu, le Japon…, aucune scène ne lui a résisté et c’est un véritable plaisir pour nous de l’accueillir chez lui !!!
