After their acclaimed debut The Questions in April 2025, the Dayton-based band returns with Reflected Hearts — a five-track EP that feels less like a follow-up and more like a radiant leap forward. Where the album asked, this EP answers.

Across these songs, The Indie Pea refine their signature blend of shimmering indie rock and orchestral pop, carried by Campbell Anderson’s warm, unhurried vocals and the band’s seamless interplay of guitar, strings, and rhythm. It’s a sound that balances clarity and complexity, intimacy and scale.

From the searching pulse of Echoes And Answers to the reflective shimmer of Mirrored Days, the luminous rush of Electric Bloom, and the guiding calm of Heartbeat Guide, each track feels like a facet of the same story. The closing Cross Bridges ties it all together — a finale that looks both back and forward, capturing a year of rapid growth with unshakable confidence.

This song is a perfect throwback to the intelligent, dynamic 90s alternative rock that we've all been missing. It builds from a smart, controlled verse—capturing that "too-much-information" cynicism—and then explodes into an anthemic, cathartic chorus of fuzzed-out guitars and raw, passionate vocals.

It's a manifesto for critical thinkers. A call to "separate the glitter from the seam beneath the gold" and to find the courage to "prove the tale you're told."

Love or Hate?

A tale of a relationship coming to an end; it had been "heaven" but both parties beginning to recognise that they are now pretending. They "gotta get it right".
I quite like this but am wondering if I have used the title/hook just a little too often. I'll leave it open for now but may change the track if it doesn't grow on me a little more. Any comments will be welcome?
