The 28th release on Suffused Music comes from Anton MAKe who is returning to the label for his second overall appearance. The Russia producer contributed to the labels 'Initializing 2014' compilation in the form of 'Vera' which is now seeing it's official single release. Fans of Anton often marvel at his studio versatility as he's a producer that's equally adept at crafting gorgeous progressive house cuts or rock solid breakbeat constructions. 'Vera' definitely comes in as the former with its classic progressive lines and heartfelt musicality. Anton's energetic grooves give the track not only a great vibe but also a great dance floor presence early on. The rumbling foundation is accented with splashes of soulful harmonies which really come to the forefront during the main drop. The playful melodies shimmer with a warm glow and those poignant plucks soon reveal Anton's rocking groove which storms ahead for an epic finish. It's certainly one of the most emotional pieces of music that has ever graced the Suffused imprint and with remixes from DJ Borra, Loco-Volver and Wav-E you know it's one not to be missed. - Release Promo

Correspondants 28th release, Polina, delivers another brooding, evocative EP for the label, this time from the Agents of Time polyhedron: a fusion of ideas and concepts that make up a single reality. The Italian trio of Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa, and Luigi Tutolo came together in the summer of 2013, and their inaugural album was released via Stem Records in January of the following year. The group uses both analog and digital equipment to refine their unique amalgam of progressive, techno, and ambient music.

Portable Sunsets - Sisters

As the world waits with baited breath for a follow-up to ƒin – a record that looks more and more like a modern classic by the day – we get a clutch of remixes trailing Talabot’s DJ-Kicks release instead; a holdover from the holdover, if you will. Thankfully “Without You” was a mighty fine standalone when teased out in late 2013, demonstrating Talabot’s gradual crossfade from nu disco into more shiver-inducing and (whisper it) trance-like territory, and the track is gifted a fresh lease of life on this !K7 12”.

Minimal maestro Thomas Melchior, riding high off his superb recent Perlon EP, spins the original out for nearly 10 minutes, but it’s Oskar Offermann who does the real business here. Abetted by sonar blips and rolling drums that form a techy counterpoint to the emotional nakedness of the original, Offerman sinks the original’s glistening guitar and softtone pads, allowing mere fragments to bubble to the surface now and again. A remix of surprising heft and replayability.
