A bilingual, atmospheric electro piece peaking as a euphoric dance track and closing with lush, ethereal voices. J’veux des frissons was commissioned by Litzic Music and is a poem written by Sylvie Helly set to music and performed by female indie artist Gaby Duboisjoli. It will be performed live for the first time on 12 October as part of the Arts Council Funded "Women Do South" festival in Clapham, London.

In a spirited return to their musical roots, Redtenbacher’s Funkestra joined forces with Horn House—a virtuosic horn section led by trombonist Nichol Thomson—to release the jazz‑funk single “Old Blood.” The collaboration marks a powerful reunion: Thom­son and bandleader Stefan Redtenbacher initially met as students at Berklee College of Music in the mid‑1990s. After both establishing careers in London, they reunited some 25 years later for this track—a fitting “full‑circle” musical journey reflected in the title.

Depuis toujours, une femme âgée sera davantage stigmatisée par la société qu’un homme du même âge. Elle, vieille et périmée, lui, mûr et charmant. Deux poids deux mesures. 

L’autrice et journaliste Sophie Fontanel, 59 ans, posait récemment nue dans le magazine Elle pour la sortie de son livre Capital de la douceur. Hi, I'm a keys player and I like making up grooves to existing jazz and latin standards. Over the last few years I've been mainly working on original numbers.

It's just me in the music you hear, I play all the parts off a keyboard recording in midi and layer up into the finished version.

I started playing the piano as a kid , then took up the trombone and played for fun in various local amateur bands and orchestras. Then at 18 went to college and didn't do anything  musically  for many years. Started playing the saxophone and tuba more recently, and in the last four years or so got back into the keyboard which is now my main instrument.

I like making up jazzy  late night music & music you can listen to when travelling. Sounds like a strange thing but I find the most enjoyable part of a holiday is the travelling part, whether that's on a plane , train or even a car on a quiet road with some nice views. Looking through a window with a changing view, in a bubble of suspended time between two worlds, that's what travelling feels like to me, and I like to write music that sounds that way - http://soundcloud.com/markd54321/361-stolen-moments-320kbps .
