I think of you quite often.  I think of you all the time.  Your voice never leaves my mind.  I think of you in the morning, early sunshine.  I think of you when I’m tucked in at night.  And if I could wonder, I would wonder one thing.  Do you wish to see me again?  ‘Cos if you don’t I’m alright.  I guess I’ll make it through.  But I’d hate living without you.  So, I’ll think of you often, think of you all the time as your voice echoes in my mind.

This is a song I wrote in 2016, about overcoming negative self doubts when I was starting to write songs again after a break of about 20 years.  It’s a song of positivity and self encouragement to get on and do the things you want to before it’s too late, regardless of what stage of life you’re at.  Recording, percussion and additional fabulous chucka chucka guitars by Carl Hetherington of Van der Neer.
