tooth fariry U.S.A. is the first track released from Angelia Word's debut EP, Bloody or Bust. This past winter, Angelia's dad found a letter in the glovebox of his car written by her when she was 7 years old. tooth fariry U.S.A. is named after the letter, written to the Tooth Fairy asking for her email address in hopes that they could be pen pals. It is with this sense of wonder and curiosity that Angelia approaches production, and she hopes that those who listen feel at least a little bit of magic.

Angelia Word is a Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist, DJ, and curator. Her sound is heavily influenced by ghetto, juke, and jungle, the rawness of lo-fi house and a propensity for the sinister. Speed is her weakness: bouncing from lush and uncanny melodies to punchy percussion and vocals boiling with sexual tension. She is co-founder of the FemmeDecks collective and its label, Banana Pudding Records.

MOTZ Premiere: Angelia Word - tooth fariry U.S.A.

Küetzal is known as one of the founders of the London-based label Sticky Ground and resident DJ for one of Italy's most prominent techno events, Genau Turin.
Besides his own imprint releases, he published music on Gomboc Records, Taro Record, Askorn Records, and others while self-releasing two independently distributed EPs and singles that generated tens of thousands of streams while gaining the likes and support of institutions in the techno scene such as Perc and prominent artists like I Hate Models.
His production space is beyond unpredictable and features much of his past as a classical pianist and rock guitarist, as well as his studies as a sound designer and music tech developer.
All this is blended - with often different or opposite approaches - with groovy and powerful techno influences.
He hosts a monthly 2hrs radio show on Fnoob Radio where he regularly showcases his djing skills.

Adrift discovered his fascination for electronic music in the nightlife of South Germany, which gave him the inspiration to start DJing himself. As a member of the Teufelswerk collective, he has now played at numerous events and festivals in Augsburg and its surroundings, always keeping the crowd in a good mood with his choice of tracks. The sound of the DJ from Augsburg can mostly be associated with dynamic kicks and driving basslines and is heavily influenced by old-school and hard-groove elements. This fusion defines his sound, reflecting the influences that have shaped his musical journey. His mix for our podcast series includes some of his current favourite productions as well as tracks he has never played before in any of his sets.
