As 2020 comes to close we are taking stock of life as it compares to a year ago. Nothing was as it seemed then, and likely nothing is now either. We are all deep inside a massive collective psychedelic journey. Good trip bad trip, all our paths overlap. 

On our new album, out now, we explore the idea that we are at the crux of a significant leg of this journey.  Like that moment in most every trip when you are faced with a fear or anxiety and must make a decision on how to proceed, the crux presents both crisis and opportunity.

The featured track here, "Common Ground” is about finding a place for us all to meet in these divisive times in hopes that we can unify and find a path forward.

Cooperation, communication and dialogue are key to unity and resilience.

On the Crux album we are taking musical chances. Some of the most personal songs we’ve written mixed with raw sketched out ideas, to full blown improvised compositions. This is our way of processing the radical changes that have become routine for all of us. This album represents our subconscious hopes and fears for the time ahead. Allow me to introduce myself..  I'm a multi-instrumental musician/producer originally from Truckee, California; and, also a former Winter Olympic athlete! I love to play and listen to all kinds of music, but what you see here is my first and only album of original material. I recorded this with the Salt Lake City based record label "Sweet Salt Records." On the album, I play the drums with my feet at the same time as playing the guitar and singing. I had been busking like this for about a year and built my material off of my busking performances. The album was well-received by the local Salt Lake City indie/rock community and started to gain some traction! But around that same time, I took a break from performing music, as I started to struggle with some serious anxiety. Additionally, I wanted to focus more on chasing my Olympic dreams, which paid off as I made it to the 2018 Olympics as a slalom skier.  Recently, I've been practicing with a loop pedal setup, and plan to use my bass, guitar, drums, keyboard, and violin. Stay tuned and I'll keep you updated as I release more music!
