Welcome to Ahimsa Recordings

A DJ/Producer and Electronic Music artist from Malaysia, Hrishikesh a.k.a SONORISHI is into his 3rd decade producing electronic  music. A collaboration of electronic musicians called the Spacebar Collective in the early days kick started his career in electronic music, namely the genre 'drum and bass'  as a main counterpart. Since disbandment, he is still a persistent DJ, remixer and recording engineer by profession. Occasionally, he performs his DJ sets to the masses of clubbers in this part of the world. He has also played alongside many international DJ such as the Metalheadz pioneer Goldie,  in recent times (under the Art Xtreme Media banner), Asian Dub Foundation (UK), and Konkrete Jungle (NYC), DJ turtablist Cash Money, Josh Wink, Timo Maas, Liquid People, Jon Carter, Roger Sanchez, Plastic Fantastic, Jason Ellis and Pete Gooding of Positiva. Some of his early productions have been features in compilation which featured names such as SUV and Utah
Jazz.

All tracks are original and complete music compositions. Collaborations with record labels, musician, vocalist will be aforementioned.

Six full albums, each with twelve tracks, designed as a complete soundtrack for training, transformation, and personal renewal. From warm-ups and power sets to dance flows and cool-downs, the series gives listeners the freedom to mix, match, and move with a full-year cycle of fitness energy.

Her music blends elements of house, EDM, electro-pop, rap-infused vocals, and hypnotic rhythmic phrasing — all wrapped in the clean, uplifting sound that defines the Rise Up ritual experience. Music has inspired me for as long as I can remember. It started with listening to the radio as a child, then experimenting with makeshift drums using pillows and rulers. At 21, I received my first acoustic guitar as a Christmas gift, which opened the door to truly learning an instrument. By 31, I was finally able to build a small recording studio with a drum set giving me the freedom to explore sound on a deeper level.

Music became both an escape from a difficult family environment and a creative space for technical experimentation. Through recording, sound modification, and improvisation-based compositions, I found a way to express myself without boundaries.

I draw influence from a wide range of sources early exposure to jazz, the visual storytelling of bands like Genesis and KISS, my father’s country-western roots, my mother’s love for Motown, and my own passion for modern jazz. These diverse influences shaped a style that is broad, genre-free, and unrestricted.

My music is intentionally instrumental so it can be understood and appreciated without language barriers, reaching listeners beyond the USA and Europe. The themes in my recordings often reflected in the artwork  revolve around environmental awareness and the search for positive solutions. Through music, I aim to inspire reflection, clarity, and a connection to the world around us.

Post-punk / alt-indie rock formed in the 90s → recently revived with new releases of old and new material. Raw guitars, lo-fi edge, melodic hooks, and protest-leaning themes. Full new album live now.

Formed in 1989 as various other names until we settled on Conduit in the early 1990's. Started jamming in a chicken coop, recorded music on a 4-track reel-to-reel, evolved to digital technology, Cakewalk, Acid Loops, etc... in the 1990-2000's.
