Great thought-provoking ballad / tribute. I knew about his explorations, and remembered that he was a prominent man, but after listening, looked up the rest.  Most amazed that after all his accomplishments, he was only 35 when he died.

@robwoolf: Robert..Meriwether Lewis led 1st expedition from St Louis, Missouri to the Pacific Ocean in 1704. Later became Governor of Louisiana Territory. Much maligned early hero accused of suicide on the Nachez Trace but many of us believe he was murdered by General Wilkinson due to Lewis's intent to report land fraud and murders by Wilkinson.

Boudicca, or Boadicea, was a queen of the Iceni who led a revolt against Roman rule in Britain.  She became somewhat of a romanticized figure in British folklore as a result.

When i get a song in my head i cant stop until i get it down somewhere and i know a lot of people just like me so i wrote this song for all of us Bards. Musical magicians, guardians of musical songs and old traditions. I hope you enjoy this one , it has taken me a long time to get it out and record it.
