I am Claude 9 and I create music in all the genres of Grooviness!

I started writing songs in my teens after learning how to play piano, cello, drums, and guitar. Being born and raised in Los Angeles greatly influenced my early years of music. My style of writing is very broad, primarily focused on lyrics in a variety of styles.  I turned professional in my 20s but then turned music into a sideline avocation.  I continued to write and perform in coffeehouses, even during my first academic job at Stanford University.  I now live and enjoy writing again in Santa Barbara, California.
