  I was introduced to the  folkloric musical traditions as a young child. 
A London primary school  ,who favoured  the arts nurtured my curiosity,giving me the opportunity to play a wide variety of instruments including violin , percussion ,flutes  and singing too  I  participated  in a buoyant  musical and artístic community.
A  female music student from Kingston University London , who lodged  introduced me to the piano,  before I started at the local primary school.
After a wee while, 
  ,I was sent to take piano lessons from 
a   female Czsec piano teacher, who was  also a concert pianist . She took up the  unenviable task of training me in the classical piano music traditions and entered me to audition for a  junior  scholarship place at what is now The Guildhall School of Music , London .
 I was awarded a full grant  to attend by the London Arts council to attend.
The Grant include fully funded tuition on first study Piano and 2nd study Flute. Also included were  musicianship classes to cover aural training theory, extemporisation . composition  and orchestral  and choral participation.

Regular opportunities to perform in the classic salon  with ensembles  and as a soloist  in the main college was all part of the lively and cohesive musical community. 
All  learning materials ,scores were  reimbursed on submission of receipts to the  conservatoire's accounts department.

We (Knut and Lars) live by a fjord in Norway. Fishing, and make songs about old, evil women´s lovelife, insurance fraud, the weather. Things like that.

Norsk visesong med noko mødrene våre kallar "absurde" tekstar. Me er ikkje heilt enig. Dei handlar om livet på godt og vond. Kanskje mest vondt.
