This instrumental piece evokes the feeling of being elsewhere. We don't really know where. The image on the cover would seem to say that it is the sky and yet... no one can really say so much the cycles of this piece seem at the same time imperturbable while remaining secret in the metric of the score. Calm and yet seeming to make one feel the backwash of the wave, this piece thus seeks to question space and its perception rather than to attempt to give a single answer. "Ci-git l'espace", a magnificent and famous work by Yves Klein, could be the other title of this musical composition, which resonates with this desire not to necessarily show what we expect to hear or see.

Ce morceau instrumental évoque le sentiment d'être ailleurs. On ne sait pas vraiment où. L'image de la pochette semblerait dire qu'il s'agit du ciel et pourtant... nul ne peut vraiment le dire tant les cycles de ce morceau semblent à l fois imperturbables tout en restant secret dans la métrique de la partition. Apaisé et pourtant semblant faire ressentir les ressacs de la vague, ce morceau cherche ainsi à interroger l'espace et sa perception plutôt qu'à tenter de donner une réponse unique. "Ci-git l'espace", oeuvre magnifique et célèbre d'Yves Klein pourrait être l'autre titre de cette composition musicale qui résonne de cette volonté de ne pas forcément montrer ce que l'on s'attend à entendre ou à voir.

Il Neige Sur Assise.        Texte :Sanzen

Boule de neige au salon, mon enfance sur un vieux guéridon
Sous la cloche en trois dimensions , Assise , mes émotions
Solitaire sans raison , encombré de ce corps bien trop grand
j’envahis tout l’espace restant  qui est fait d’un seul et même plan.

Et pendant ce temps tu défies placide la  gravitation .  
ce n’est pas toujours la fête , tu traverses tel un géant  les saisons
grâce à ton  humour ,à ton amour, ta superbe autodérision
et si ça se trouve  ,  quelques flocons dans ton salon.   

je me construis un univers fait  d’huiles et de pastels dorés
ma toile est comme la vie trop souvent déséquilibrée  
je me sers un peu moins de ma tête que de mon coeur , de mes grands pieds.
peindre c’est pas toujours la fête , le gout une valeur trop partagée .
 
Et pendant ce temps tu défies placide la gravitation .

When I was little, my parents divorced and we moved with my mother to the other side of the world. My parents always stayed on good terms, and we could call and write, so it wasn't like he had died or anything - but suddenly our father was just... gone from our everyday world. Over the decades, we have been able to catch up every couple of years or so, but parting each time always feels like losing him all over again, and no matter how old I get, that little girl inside me rises to the surface, re-living the confusion, hurt and loss. 

A few years ago, my father showed me a poem that little girl had written and sent to him during those first few years apart:
"I miss you like the pages of a book
I miss you like the shadow of a lion
I miss you like a bird up a flyin'
But when I think of you the sun shines through my tears"
