"I find ways of healing in my daily life by utilizing music as a conduit to express the unsaid. Oftentimes, in mixes I create solace through building a narrative of what is currently happening in my life. For this narrative, I find myself writing a series of lost love letters to many ghosts, some to older versions of myself. Songs ranging from percussive to ambient, jungle, footwork and Billie Eilish, I hope others can see that mixes can be more than just entertainment, but also a therapy of sorts."

About the mix: In this mix I wanted to bring a little more of my personality into house music. I go through several aspects that I like, from remixes of the most classics to denser things within the acid house that I love! I also wanted to bring a little of the sound of the Ballroom Culture that I am part of and build the Community here in Brazil. House Music for me is the beginning of my journey as a DJ and the beginning of the Ballroom sound, so it is very meaningful for me to participate in building a set that brings a mix of all of this. A partir da sua investigação à ligação da música psicodélica e do questionamento da apropriação musical colonial da Europa, ela inicia agora uma digressão Europeia em Novembro para consolidar sonoridades comuns além-fronteiras.

Tágide is a radio host, DJ, and sociomusicology specialist. After spending a decade in London, Berlin, and Brussels, she returned to Portugal to found Plástica Sonora, a music agency based at the University of Porto. Bringing sounds from Iberia, North Africa, and SWANA, Tágide curates music through electro-percussive beats, dubstep, tribalism, and more. Drawing from her research into the connections between psychedelic music and the critique of Europe's colonial musical appropriation, she is launching a European tour in November to consolidate shared sounds across borders.
