Tom is a trombonist, composer and arranger based in London who has directed his own groups and big bands on national and international tours, and has performed at venues including Ronnie Scott's, the Vortex Jazz Club, 606 Club, Bull's Head, the Casa del Jazz in Rome, the Budapest Jazz Club, the Jazz Club of Tunis, and at the Montreux, Toronto and Montreal Jazz Festivals.

Winner of the 2013 Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition, his playing and writing have gained numerous accolades from many important figures in the UK jazz scene. His musical experience includes directing, writing, arranging and performing music with big bands, orchestras, chamber, soul, funk, jazz and progressive rock groups both locally and nationally, as well as tours with professional shows across Europe, on both trombone and keyboards.

In 2011 Tom was accepted onto the prestigious postgraduate jazz course at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under Mark Bassey, Gordon Campbell and Mark Nightingale. Whilst at the Academy he was also fortunate enough to work with musicians including Dave Douglas, Joe Locke, Stan Sulzmann, Django Bates, Nikki Iles, Martin Speake, Liam Noble, Barak Schmool, Pete Churchill, Stan Tracey and Troyka.

As a leader and sideman Tom has performed alongside musicians such as Iain Ballamy, Gareth Lockrane, Steve Waterman, Kit Downes, Issie Barratt and Mike Gibbs. His original projects include the Tom Green Septet, who are undergoing their first UK tour in November/December 2013.

Matt Robinson is a London based pianist, composer and improviser, working primarily in jazz and contemporary music. Matt performs regularly around the UK as well as writing music for several of his own projects. Matt’s group recently performed at the BBC Proms Lates, which was later broadcast on Radio 3, and were featured on the Yamaha New Jazz Sessions CD on the cover of Jazzwise magazine.

Matt grew up in Wakefield and began studying piano from an early age. Introduced to jazz through school and the local jazz club, he began performing with the Doncaster Jazz Association and took lessons with Jamil Sheriff in Leeds.
Since moving to London in 2008, Matt studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Tom Cawley, Nikki Iles, Liam Noble and Gwilym Simcock. He was awarded the Edwin Samuel Dove prize and a Yamaha Jazz Scholarship upon graduation.
As well as forming a quintet and a trio with some amazing musicians and friends, Matt has been lucky enough to work with some inspiring performers such as Stan Sulzmann, Jim Hart and Josh Arcoleo. In September 2011, he was invited to be part of the Worshipful Company of Musicians Annual Jazz Medal event, held at the Pizza Express Jazz Club. In the summer of 2012, Matt’s group performed as part of the Proms Plus Late series at the Royal Albert Hall, also broadcast on BBC Radio 3. Matt is also featured on singer Emma Smith‘s debut album The Huntress, released in February 2012, as well as upcoming albums with Reuben Fowler and Ollie Howell.
Over the past few years, Matt has also worked on collaborative project entitled 15 Images with composer Nigel Morgan, textile artist Alice Fox and software designer Phil Legard combining visualisations, created from textile pieces, with a digitally notated score.

Jack is currently studying jazz trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music under Gerard Presencer and Nick Smart. Previously, Jack completed his classical training at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He is a member of Southbound, and runs his own big band, The Sound of the North Big Band.

Mark Perry is a 26 year old London based Trumpet player that graduated from Trinity College of Music.
 He has studied under the tuition of Pete Saberton, Steve Waterman, Paul Eshelby, Chris Batchelor, Nicolas Payton, Alex Sipiagin Mike Lovatt and Simon Purcell.
Mark is influenced by many great jazz musicians but to name a few: John Coltrane, Keith Jarrett, Freddie Hubbard, Woody Shaw, Miles Davis, Terence Blanchard, Ambrose akinmusire, Gary Thomas and Mark Turner.
