On the weekend of the 4th of June, Love Foundation turned the Waterhouse, its home in Amsterdam Noord, into a big playground with music, art and workshops. We recorded the sets of the weekend and will be sharing them here over the next few weeks. We begin on Saturday afternoon with @Gvmv 's Live Set. We recommend to listen to this set with a cold drink in a sunny spot and guarantee a smile on your face and a feeling of summer in your ears ;)

Last year Gomma was approached to rework some songs from the legendary Casablanca Records catalogue. Of course we said yes. So me, Telonius, Munk and The Phenomenal Handclap Band did four new interpretations of classic tracks by Donna Summer & Giorgio Moroder, Skatt Brothers, Stephanie Mills and from the Flashdance soundtrack!

For the project we needed a very special vocalist. There was only one who has the right understanding of history, the perfect dirty approach and enough soul: Peaches. And she was totally enthusiastic about that.

"Casablanca Reworks" will be out on 13 January 2012 on Gomma.

Hi my name is Mark Mac.
“I love my family and my life, my only other passion is music” 
I’ve been a dance DJ in many clubs and bars up and down the UK and across Europe. I’ve worked with a number of radio stations doing Deep House, House and Chillout shows for over the last 20 years, In that time I’ve mixed it up with world famous Djs from all around the globe. 
The Sounds Collective show was born in May of 2011 as part of my passion for dance music. It has grown at an amazing rate with the support and help of good friends and new friends I have met along the way. 
 On My shows I play the newest and finest in Deep House, House music, and chilled beats. The show has been honoured with many amazing world class Labels Artists and Dj’s.
Labels like UM Records, Deepwit Recordings, Itom Records, Ready Mix Records, Fierce Angel, Hed Kandi, SeamlessDeep, Redbox Records and Deep Site Recordings.
 The line up of Guest Dj’s who have appeared on the shows include Andrew Weatherall, Rishi K., Paul Cassidy, Moti Brothers, Tom Lown, Portofino Sunrise, Rory Cochrane, Broadcasting, Ben Sowton, Marshall Jefferson, Mark Doyle, Terry Hunter, Graham Sahara, Graham Park.
