BIO:
Currently residing in the North East, UK, Rory has been Djing for over 15 years. His early influences was generally the whole US west coast house scene, in particular the early Naked Music vibe, Dubtribe Sound System, Miguel Migs, Rasoul, Andy Caldwell, JT Donaldson & Lance Desardi. 
Other of Rory's faves and influences include the likes of Calum Walker, Brendan Costigane, Jimpster, Charles Webster, Vincenzo, Dj Ino, Schmoov & Crazy P. This distinctive sound and its influence is obvious when you hear him work a crowd in that individual and unique way that Rory has made his own by giving you that characteristic Cochrane deep house therapy. Rory's passion for Deep house music has brought him up to the present day, now running quality labels Deep Site Recordings & Deep Site Vinylized with Croatian dj/producer and good friend Tom Krizic (DJ Funtom) as well as working on some interesting production projects of his own. Rory also hosts Deep Site Recordings monthly radio show, going out on some of the worlds best Deep House Stations, Deepvibes, London....DE Radio, Vancouver....Tunnel FM, Sweden & West Radio, Greece..... so watch this space and continue to absorb the magical sessions from Rory Cochrane's Deep House Therapy couch!

This week on The Sounds Collective Deep House, House and Chillout We Welcomed our 2nd new Resident Dj Mr Michael Oberling..
Michael is a jazz musician by trade. He began DJing while attending Columbia College Chicago, he hosted a successful radio show on Souljack Digital and held a handful of residencies before relocating to California in 2014.

Michael started producing electronic music in early 2015 and soon released his first EP on DeepStitched Records in early 2016 under the former alias Michael Lee. Michael pulls his inspiration from jazz, specifically the era of Miles Davis, Coltrane, Chet Baker etc. His first introduction to electronic music was from Everything But The Girl's Walking Wounded album, which his mother purchased second-hand.

His love for deep, soulful music, is expressed through each new release, combining his trumpet playing, vocals and jazz musical knowledge. Michael makes music that everyone can listen, dance to, and connect with on all levels. He did us an exclusive mix and he will be with us 3rd week of every month on deephouse-radio.com Saturday Night at 7pm.
