2   Jamo and Andy George "Remember" I was  Going through a few old Promos I had last year and came across this  taken from MODA BLACK VOL. II Sampler Featuring tracks from Huxley, Danny Daze, Maxxi Sound system, Jaymo & Andy George, Hot Since 82, Habischman. And it’s a gem i missed out on went straight of Hot since 82 .I think it was called leave me. But what a cracking tune.

3     Roots Are Deep   Original Mix       Artists Jay West   out on Collected Works 5 track EP With artists like ....Moonwalk,  EdOne, Bodden, Trash You, Claus Casper,  That track by Jay West is no 5 on the release and is one of my Favorites. Out on OFF Recordings.

Following A Drumming Background, Tom Made A Move To New York Where He Worked As A Producer/Composer For Ant Music. There He Composed And Produced Music For TV And Commercials, Meanwhile Holding Down His DJ Residency At Subkulture.Since His Return To London, Tom Has Had A String Of Releases With Sudup Recordings, Lost My Dog, 3am Recordings And Warmth Recordings. His Recent EP ‘Love Potion’ Was A Huge Success For Lost My Dog, Reaching #5 In Juno’s Deep House Chart, And Even Making It Into Beatport’s Chill Out Top 100 Courtesy Of The Track ‘The Return’. This Was Followed By A Special Jay Tripwire Remix Package. Last Year Saw Tom Teaming Up With Producer Harold Heath To Start Working On Some collaboration  EP’s. The 1st Was Released On Deepwit Recordings, The 2nd Is Due Out Soon On Acryl And The Pair Have Just Finished Off Their 3rd EP Together. Together from birth, two brothers united by their passion for music and more, Pongo is the latest sound evolution of Giovanni Bruni and Daniele Bruni. Growing up with a very similar musical culture, handed down in turn by their parents, the two brothers have always shared their art projects together. Giovanni started playing as a DJ in the early 2000s now enjoying success in the most famous clubs of the clubbing scene in Tuscany. Soon, his younger brother Daniele follows the same steps as supporting him in DJ sets and creating their first music projects together. In 2011, together with Luca L. and Elia C. founded the brand Yuma Recordings.In addition to the  label ,Yuma began to be known for the club event, Yuma Nights, and in 2013 the collective Yuma created the Vibe Club, a place that offered innovative sound in Italian nightlife. The brothers felt that they had to make their most personal productions, with which they can open up more towards a wider musical landscape.
 After a period of evolution in the studio in 2016, it's time to get back on stage for Giovanni and Daniele with their new Pongo project that takes shape with Giovanni on vocals. Their strong influences that fuses electronics, soul, and techno have created this new way of approaching the dancefloor: the combination of evocative song and a powerful and refined set.

Detroit House veteran, Alton Miller, has been quietly cementing his legacy as one of the foundational voices in the genre for the past three decades. Headspace EP, his latest EP dropping on Croatia-based label, Forbidden Dance Records, finds him embracing his East Coast soul and funk roots, while still retaining a luxurious, hypnotic Deep House vibe.

“Shine on Me (Rollin to Detroit Mix)”, the second track off the A-side, is a “revision” of a song Miller made for Moodymann’s label, KDJ Records, back in 2002. This updated version, helmed by producer Ricardo Miranda, emphasizes Miller’s own vocals as the focal point of the track. As the opening groove settles in, with softly glistening cymbals, warm, silky pads, and a metronomic clicking that persists throughout the song’s duration, Miller’s vocals unobtrusively swirl around the mix, conjuring a kind of one-man harmonizing soul quartet. As the track builds, with the rhythm section shuffling in, and those unmistakably Detroit House keys, Miller sings the refrain: “In my mind every thought of you / Shine your light and it gets me through”. Miller’s performance, which embodies the kind of open-hearted, unabashed yearning for the comfort of another you would find on an overlooked soul gem from the 60’s or 70’s, is given ample room to shine and luxuriate within this rich, deeply soulful soundscape. 

Like so many of the best classic Deep House cuts, this track rarely feels like it’s doing too much, yet encapsulates so much of what makes the genre so effective and timeless. Miller has a preternatural sense of what the crucial elements are in terms of soulful Deep House. His laid-back, but clearly meticulous approach pays off with a track that can’t help but shine.

THE SOUNDS COLLECTIVE WITH MARK MAC AND BDTOM ON NRG RADIO

Last week on the sounds collective we welcomed Tidy Daps to NRGRadio They are a DJ/production duo based in Poland consisting of Doctor and Tim Haze. They first played together in the clubs of Poznan back in the late 90s and are recognised as two of the pioneers of the house scene in Poland.
Since those early beginnings Doctor has shown his considerable DJ-ing skills at major clubs around the country alongside some of the top names in the world of house music, while DJ Haze has spun at top clubs in the UK such as Ministry of Sound and Pacha as well as festivals such as Creamfields.
In recent years both have turned their attention to production with Doctor's melodic underground sound gracing labels such as Loving Music, Drum Mode and Pierogi Records. Meanwhile Haze's smooth and versatile production talents have appeared on labels such as Kroton Sound, More Music and Oh So Coy and most notably on his own Pierogi Records.
In 2012 the pair joined forces and haven’t looked back they have already had two EPs released together, with another two releases pending. Their sound is one of harmony and energy, keeping things deep but with the dancefloor always very much in mind. Tidy Daps have big plans for the future so watch out for the name and remember, you heard it first here!

Hi my name is Mark Mac.
“I love my family and my life, my only other passion is music” 
I’ve been a dance DJ in many clubs and bars up and down the UK and across Europe. I’ve worked with a number of radio stations doing Deep House, House and Chillout shows for over the last 20 years, In that time I’ve mixed it up with world famous Djs from all around the globe. 
The Sounds Collective show was born in May of 2011 as part of my passion for dance music. It has grown at an amazing rate with the support and help of good friends and new friends I have met along the way. 
 On My shows I play the newest and finest in Deep House, House music, and chilled beats. The show has been honoured with many amazing world class Labels Artists and Dj’s.
Labels like UM Records, Deepwit Recordings, Itom Records, Ready Mix Records, Fierce Angel, Hed Kandi, SeamlessDeep, Redbox Records and Deep Site Recordings.
 The line up of Guest Dj’s who have appeared on the shows include Andrew Weatherall, Rishi K., Paul Cassidy, Moti Brothers, Tom Lown, Portofino Sunrise, Rory Cochrane, Broadcasting, Ben Sowton, Marshall Jefferson, Mark Doyle, Terry Hunter, Graham Sahara, Graham Park.  I have been influenced by music all my life from 70s Funk to Funky House but I am truly blessed to be able to share my Passion and love for Deep House with The Sounds Collective on 107.3 Stafford FM. DHR 104.9 Fm and LDNFM I have several Tracks that I have released featuring both Deep House And Organic house. on Deepwit Recordings, Batavia Records, Sound Vessel Records M-Sol Deep Be Adult Music And Be Adult Weapons.
