2   Jamo and Andy George "Remember" I was  Going through a few old Promos I had last year and came across this  taken from MODA BLACK VOL. II Sampler Featuring tracks from Huxley, Danny Daze, Maxxi Sound system, Jaymo & Andy George, Hot Since 82, Habischman. And it’s a gem i missed out on went straight of Hot since 82 .I think it was called leave me. But what a cracking tune.

3     Roots Are Deep   Original Mix       Artists Jay West   out on Collected Works 5 track EP With artists like ....Moonwalk,  EdOne, Bodden, Trash You, Claus Casper,  That track by Jay West is no 5 on the release and is one of my Favorites. Out on OFF Recordings.

Tom Lown Bio
Following A Drumming Background, Tom Made A Move To New York Where He Worked As A Producer/Composer For Ant Music. There He Composed And Produced Music For TV And Commercials, Meanwhile Holding Down His DJ Residency At Subkulture.Since His Return To London, Tom Has Had A String Of Releases With Sudup Recordings, Lost My Dog, 3am Recordings And Warmth Recordings. His Recent EP ‘Love Potion’ Was A Huge Success For Lost My Dog, Reaching #5 In Juno’s Deep House Chart, And Even Making It Into Beatport’s Chill Out Top 100 Courtesy Of The Track ‘The Return’. This Was Followed By A Special Jay Tripwire Remix Package. Last Year Saw Tom Teaming Up With Producer Harold Heath To Start Working On Some collaboration  EP’s. The 1st Was Released On Deepwit Recordings, The 2nd Is Due Out Soon On Acryl And The Pair Have Just Finished Off Their 3rd EP Together. Tom Also Has A Remix Coming Out On UM Records.Tom Still Composes Music For TV And Has Recently Been In The Studio With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Recording For SKY’s Music Catalogue!

While he's turned his hand to many different styles of over the years, there's no doubting the efficiency of Jesse Rose's many well-heeled, house-tailored productions. His last album - released on his own Play It Down label - was a keen reminder of a talent that's as revered in the UK as much as it is abroad.

His first LP since he moved to LA some years ago, The Whole Twelve Inches was a fitting reminder that Rose is still more indebted to the warehouse sounds of Berlin and London than it is his all-new Hollywood surroundings. Perhaps bridging this gap however is the Play It Down boss’ new remix of fast rising LA/Berlin 3 piece The Acid’s incoming single ‘Fame’. For the uninitiated, The Acid consists of Ry X, Steve Nalepa, and the ever trailblazing Adam Freeland who have come together to form an outfit with serious pedigree. If that wasn’t somehow enough to get us onboard The Acid hype train then news that their new single would be getting reworks from DT favourites Jesse Rose and Factory Floor certainly did the trick. Due out August 11 courtesy of Infectious Music you can check out Jesse’s re-rub of ‘Fame’ ahead of release above.

INTERVIEW MARK MAC AND ADDEX...

1 How did you get into music?
I grew up with the music from the 90’s, especially the house and dance tracks and later on it became to me more popular the deep house scene, soulful house, wich i came across somewhere around 2005, i think, with labels like Naked Music, Forensic Records, Plastic City, Driftwood, King Streets Sound... and many deep house labels at that time.
2 You have two pseudonyms ADDEX and OPENZONE BAR ? 
Yes, i am making also from time to time chillout and more lounge sound but the most i use is my main deep house name. Last album with Openzone Bar was on Lemongrass Music and was called „Lifestyle”.
3 How long have you been involved in making music? 
I started first in 2008 making trance music and only for about 2 years and few releases, but i was also producing deep house on the other side, so i had to make a decision and my passion for deep house sound was growing more and more so i eventually decided that is best to make this sound for full time.
4 What remix work have you done? 
The recent remixes i’ve done so far it was for Spring Tube label, of Anthony Mea’s track – Talk To Me, another one was for the UK label Deep Site Recordings, for McNair & Clarke and also for Sound Vessel Records i did some remixes, one is out already and another one is expected to be out in august i think..And the next remixes are for a South African label called Do It Now Recordings and for a Miami label, Heavenly Bodies...those are my last remixes.
5 What labels have you worked with? 
I worked with many great labels in the past, for example Deep Site Recordings, i worked with LoveZone Records, Spring Tube, the progressive label Proton from US, Ready Mix Records...to name a few.
6 You have a new album coming out soon?
Yes, it’s called „Reshape” , it is out on promo for few days and it’s actually coming out in some weeks, on 20th july on Ready Mix Records exclusive on Beatport and later on, from August the 3rd, it will be worldwide.
7 Tell me about it and how you came up with the name.
I started the album in november or december if i remember, and eventually on May this year, i finished it with few tracks in collaboration with Ilias Katelanos from Greece, delivering some quitars parts on track 1 and 4, and since i’ve been collaborated with Ready Mix Records in the past for some remixes, Big Al from the label and i, got in touch to release the album. The name stands out as a description of how i manage to develop the sound over the last years, and since my last album in 2010 i have definetly changed that, so it’s a reshaping of my sound in the last years.
8 What’s your favourite track you’ve ever made yourself? 
That is very hard question, but i can tell you that some of my favorites i did are actually from this album, for example track 1 and 3 are the most i like so far.
9 What’s your Favourite Track of all time? 
That is even a more hard question.. usually the favorite tracks are the ones who get to you while you are young: One of my favorite is from Depeche Mode - The Policy Of Truth, one i like the most is the Ananda Project – Cascades Of Colour, i especially like the Wamdue Project Journey To Colour Version wich had a very big influence. There is also a track called „Nu Odissey” by Departure Lounge, the Ham and Eggs version wich was released on Paper Recordings in 1997, Forensic Records also had a track called „Time Changes” from Little Green Men, nice deep house production aswell. Also some of the Saint Germain tracks i like, his album Boulevard is one of the best albums i like the most.



10 What type of program you use for making music?
I use many programs, there are also many plugins i like but in my opinion nowdays is not about the program and what you use, more of how you use it, how the sound you create gets the best result through this programs, because the posibilities are infinite and i think it has become important the technique and the process for making music.
11 What else have you got going on at the moment? 
At the moment, the album will be released, so after that maybe a few remixes, but nothing much. We are phocusing on getting some remixes of tracks from the album and we got so far Helly Larson, Forteba or Harlem Knights doing the work.
12 How can people find you? 
I have soundcloud page, twitter but i don’t tweet that much, facebook and mixcloud page, where i upload a monthly podcast called Limitation.

Another Chance to hear The Sounds Collective from Sat 4th October With Tim Andresen  and Mark Mac which was Broadcast live on Stafford FM.

My Guest on The Sounds Collective this week Was Record Producer,  Remixer,  DJ, An Event organizer and  label owner, Tim Andresen he has his fingers in many pies and is the founder of the highly acclaimed What Happens label.
His early days as a DJ and the hunt for vinyl started as far back as 1986 but it wasn’t until the late nineties he propelled to local fame. In 2001 he dropped out of normal society, dedicating his life to music and hasn’t looked back since.
He is the founder of the highly acclaimed What Happens label and it’s now home to some of the finest talents in underground house music while constantly building it’s reputation.
One to follow his dreams through equal parts of talent and hard work, Tim is an artist who enjoys the writing, production, engineering and arrangement of his own records. Recently he has been serving an array of house music on quality labels such as Savoir Faire Musique, Natural Rhythm, UM Records, Ready Mix Records, Soulman Music, Seamless, Southpark Recordings, Starlight Unlimited, Elevation Recordings, Gartenhaus, Deso, DeepWit Recordings and of course his own What Happens imprint. It already seems a long time since he released on the UK's longest running house label Azuli being the man behind one of clubland’s biggest tracks of 2007 called “Everybody” but also on Toolroom as one of the "Leaders of the new school" and on Southern Fried as half part of Professional Losers being dubbed "the next big Danish housers" by IDJ. For well over a decade he has not only seen his name appear regularly in the charts but also had wide support across the electronic spectrum from DJs such as Steve Lawler, Maya Jane Coles, Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli, Laurent Garnier, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo through to Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong and Fatboy Slim whom he was also personally asked to remix (#1 UK Buzz Chart). Add to that he did compilation CDs while record sales were still something to talk about. Most notably, he was asked by Ministry of Sound to mix and compile the critically acclaimed volume 1 of Ministry Sessions. They described him "Denmark's busiest house DJ" and that later led on to playing the international MoS tour.
These days see DJs come and go but Tim remains at the very frontline of the Scandinavian club scene as one of just a few DJs out of Denmark with truly international reach. His global success as a producer has given further rise to his profile as a DJ and seen him perform in more than 35 different countries across Europe and far-flung destinations in Asia and South America. That includes the legendary terrace at Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, the world’s biggest club Privelegé, Ministry Of Sound in London and Fabric that labeled him "Denmark's finest export". At home ground he is the main resident at the famous Culture Box, one of the most sought after positions for DJs in all of Denmark. Month in month out, he rubs shoulder and plays with some of the most prolific DJs on earth including Joris Voorn, James Zabiela, Steve Lawler, Maya Jane Coles, Nic Fanciulli, Nick Curly, Shonky and Nicole Moudaber, helping to secure the club it’s unique position with worldwide recognition and 5 awards for Best Danish Club. His skills haven’t gone unnoticed and personal recognition came through awards for "Best DJ" at Club Awards and "Most Popular Nordic DJ" by Megamind. Not to forget he was asked by legends like Nick Warren and Mark Knight to join for memorable back-to-back sets. The latter described Tim’s party "one of the best Friday nights in the world" in The Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1.

Hi my name is Mark Mac.
“I love my family and my life, my only other passion is music” 
I’ve been a dance DJ in many clubs and bars up and down the UK and across Europe. I’ve worked with a number of radio stations doing Deep House, House and Chillout shows for over the last 20 years, In that time I’ve mixed it up with world famous Djs from all around the globe. 
The Sounds Collective show was born in May of 2011 as part of my passion for dance music. It has grown at an amazing rate with the support and help of good friends and new friends I have met along the way. 
 On My shows I play the newest and finest in Deep House, House music, and chilled beats. The show has been honoured with many amazing world class Labels Artists and Dj’s.
Labels like UM Records, Deepwit Recordings, Itom Records, Ready Mix Records, Fierce Angel, Hed Kandi, SeamlessDeep, Redbox Records and Deep Site Recordings.
 The line up of Guest Dj’s who have appeared on the shows include Andrew Weatherall, Rishi K., Paul Cassidy, Moti Brothers, Tom Lown, Portofino Sunrise, Rory Cochrane, Broadcasting, Ben Sowton, Marshall Jefferson, Mark Doyle, Terry Hunter, Graham Sahara, Graham Park.
