She's an Italian Berlin-based emerging dj. She had her debut in Tbilisi, London, Barcelona, Athens and Berlin. Recently she played  in Rome for Sound Tales Electronic Festival - in collaboration with Montreux Jazz Festival - and she has been interviewed by Couleur 3 Radio. 

Her sound is a mix of New-Wave, Synth-Pop, Proto-Italo, dancefloor-oriented EBM, 80’s Electro and 90’s Trance.

Hailing from Thessaloniki, Greece, and now residing in Strasbourg, France, Alpha Sect is a project of George McCall, which is focused on breaking electro patterns and pumping body music with serious punk influences. He started his music career as a guitarist in the post-metal band Sleepstream with 2 albums on their track record and he is an active musician with participations in physical theatre performances with his side-project. Blank Wave salutes its new member with an outstanding guest mix full of electro classics and the new acid and body music generation. Join the chant, follow the sect!

like the previous EP »ich bin meine maschine«, »riding the void« is set up very functionally, aiming at being used in the club. techno maverick scuba, for example, turns the track with his »pulse mix« into a straight and dense march, whereas atom™ himself shakes the groove out of »riding the void« with his own two lighthearted remixes. his »nought remix« presents itself as slimmed-down yet very vibrant, while »tool« is a perfectly dance floor-ready reinterpretation of the original track. furthermore, an additional remix by hanno leichtmann can be found on the digital version of the release.

the EP is available in bundle with atom™‘s data dvd »HD+« as well as separately. so far, there were released the full-length album »HD« (r-n147) and the 12-inch ep »ich bin meine maschine« (r-n146).

Having lain out it's darkened techno vision with the epic and enthralling Inertia compilation over the last few months, Delsin's little sister, Ann Aimee, is back. Back with another bang, this time from mysterious Vault Series associate Sawlin who drops four cuts of grainy, scratchy sounds with his Techno Dumping EP.

'Boring Feels' is the deepest offering, gently pushing forward as sharp percussion sounds roll off the heavy and hunched over bottom end. 'Techno Dumping' is a punchier affair with trippy background atmospherics and a cantering bottom end that’s paranoid as hell, whilst 'Datamen Working' is a dubbed out destroyer with eerie shapes craft sounds and muffled vocals throughout. 

Closer 'Neid Auf Vacuum' lets in some shafts of melodic light to its clappy house heart, with rippling keys and train-track sounds fleshing out the backdrop: more finely crafted dance floor weapons you simply need in your collection.

OUT AUGUST 24TH: Cold Beat is a San Francisco-based quartet fronted by Hannah Lew (synths, vocals) with Kyle King (synths, guitar), Luciano Talpini Aita (synths) and Sean Monaghan (guitar). Formed in 2013 the band has released three albums and two EPs.  ‘A Simple Reflection’ is a 7-song collection of Eurythmics covers, yet feels just as personal as any of their original material. While digging through a collection of 12"s for her record shop Contact Records, Lew stumbled across the earliest Eurythmics B-sides and was floored. This lead to the discovery of their debut album ‘In The Garden'. Annie Lennox’s abstract and poetic lyrics really struck a chord with Hannah. What had started out as a single cover quickly snowballed into a full blown obsession.  The synth and drum programming resonated with her songwriting process, so reimagining them was very creatively fulfilling. The covers on this EP are simultaneously dynamic and atmospheric post-punk that plays to Lew's ethereal vocals and King’s crystalline guitar. All songs have been mixed by Mikey Young (Total Control)  and mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios. The record is housed in a jacket designed by Eloise Leigh, which features pink and purple clouds that evoke a dreamy softness and DIY playfulness and photos Lew in her best Lennox-inspired drag. Each copy includes a postcard with photos and notes. “Sometimes a song seems to sing just for you, as if someone knows your most inner thoughts and feelings and has found a way to describe them effortlessly” - Hannah Lew

Mark Moore is known as the driving force behind electronic pioneers S’EXPRESS along with his number one hit ‘The Theme from S-Express’. But to most clubbers today his notoriety owes as much to his unique and eclectic DJ skills, as to his string of hit records and remixes. 

Moore was one of the first to play Chicago house and Detroit techno music in the UK. His ‘Theme From S-Express’ certainly brought UK house to the nation’s homes and broke the sound across Europe. Mark still produces, remixes and travels the globe playing an eclectic mix of electro-disco, twisted house, neo techno, alt-pop and whatever else he fancies to express himself today.
