(fka 'notes / mmxx')

written last 2019-2020, me switching PCs earlier this year & creative differences with what I had in mind two years ago has led me to lose all my files for this project. I'd consider this project 'scrapped' up until two months ago.

as i'm currently working on another EP, the thought of this project unreleased has bothered me enough to finish it off mp3 exports from a year ago. even the album art was salvaged off an old SoundCloud export I had around april 2020.

started markmuffins initially as a lofi/indie rock project back in 2018. i'd consider myself naive to whatever sonic landscapes i could've potentially dabbled on but i was happy with my former output/s. fast forward to today, where current events + thinking about the future of this project just drains me.

id like to consider this EP to be a short(?) farewell, to dabble on other sounds i'm interested in exploring. (pls look forward to them!)

recorded in the span of 6 months, a 'moodboard' of how i'd want this project to sound like.
