Khal Bennett Banks, professionally known as SEXVXNNY, is a rising independent artist, musician, and singer-songwriter from Flint, Michigan. Born Javon Mikhal Banks on July 7, 1998, Khal has been surrounded by music for as long as he can remember. His journey hasn't been easy—he was raised in the system—foster homes, instability, survival. Music quickly became his outlet and source of identity.

His sound can’t be boxed in—it’s a reflection of everything he’s lived. One song might carry the pain of R&B, the rebellion of rock, the hunger of hip-hop, and the soul of gospel all in one breath. He came up on SoundCloud, building from nothing—no machine, no big label—just truth in every beat, every lyric.

Through his sound, Khal speaks directly to the mind and spirit of his listeners, aiming to spark unity, self-awareness, and personal power. Deeply rooted in Black culture, his artistry is influenced by revolutionary movements from the 1960s to the present, drawing mentorship and inspiration from that legacy.
