This is a song I wrote called “Eyes of the World”, recorded on my cassette 4-Track with my ‘70s Westwood acoustic, Fender Telecaster, ‘68 Fender P-Bass, and 18” Zildjian crash (that I played while recording the vocal). What started as a thought experiment — maybe try writing something less depressing, so working on it isn’t so grueling? — sprawled out into this new 14-track album of sunny, borderline beachy vibes. 

It’s a night-and-day shift from Northern Stories (2021), with the artist name maybe being the sole connective thread between the two (well, that and some debatable mixing/mastering choices). Whether that’s a good thing — eh, that’s up to you. (I like it, anyways.)
