Inspired by Bighead’s work with Lil Pump and Lil Peep, Bighead returns to Splice with custom drums and percussion with a professional mix and mastered sound that can be dropped right into your program. Bighead also provided a series of Uzi type sounds. The drums are inspired by Bighead’s trademark Trap Sound. The loops provided are strong with a folder comprising entirely of carefully selected guitar melodies that are both melodic and emotional but catchy. Additional loops are a mix of aggressive trap and melodic new wave sounds.

What started as a thought experiment — maybe try writing something less depressing, so working on it isn’t so grueling? — sprawled out into this new 14-track album of sunny, borderline beachy vibes. 

It’s a night-and-day shift from Northern Stories (2021), with the artist name maybe being the sole connective thread between the two (well, that and some debatable mixing/mastering choices). Whether that’s a good thing — eh, that’s up to you. (I like it, anyways.)
