Note: In 2015 the Canadian Government officially apologised for what they called the "Cultural Genocide" of Native Americans, when millions of indigenous children were separated from their families and educated in Catholic schools.  The kids were beaten and abused, and too many died in care to keep accurate records.  It wasn't cultural genocide, it was genocide.  In 2018 it came to light that the Catholic Church in Chicago covered up the names of over 500 priests involved in abusing children.  For all those who've suffered, this song is my tiny gift to you.
