Bit Reactors

Style: Frenchcore, Uptempo Hardcore

Bit Reactors is an Italian music project founded in 2011 by Blastek and Otto-Beat. Their style is really peculiar and polyhedral: elements of Frenchcore, Hardcore and Industrial can be recognized in their music. Since the beginning of their career Bit Reactors , thanks to their previous experiences and different background, their style can be described as melodic combined with aggressive and heavy sound. The duo received good feedback and started to get recognition from the audience and music providers community not only in Italy but also throughout Europe which led them to travel even more and play at the major hardcore festivals such as Dominator, Masters of Hardcore, Ground Zero, Hardshock and Defqon 1.

2012 was a very important year for this music project. As they continue to travel and play their music across various festivals and venues they get acquainted with established artist Sirio and with him they started a smooth collaboration which enabled Bit Reactors to produce their first hit called “Play my game”. After this release in 2013 Bit Reactors presented their first solo EP called “Losing my mind”. This was a turning point for the duo. In the following years after many experiences and hard-work Bit Reactors released new EPs, tracks and remixes through different labels like Brutale, Neurotoxic, R-909, Noistrorm, Peacock Records, Industrial Strength, HeadFuck Records and more. 

Because of medical issues, Matteo aka Otto-Beat was forced to abandon Bit Reactors and the Hardcore scene during 2017.
Yet, despite this, the Bit Reactors project is carried on by Antonio aka Blastek who is always on the hunt for new sounds. So expect for the upcoming future heavier, more sinister and bloodier tracks.

Filippo Calcagni, better known by his artist name DJ Mad Dog, is an Italian DJ, producer,  and owner of Dogfight Records.

Known for his furious and flaming beats that range across all tempos, Italian Hardcore sensation Mad Dog is unquestionably one of the industry’s most consistent producers. Active in the scene since 1999 and an exponent of the Millennium and Modern Hardcore eras, Mad Dog has remained in an unshakeable position through all of the genre’s twists and turns. 

He’s performed on the world’s biggest stages at Thunderdome, EDC Las Vegas, Qlimax, Mysteryland, Dominator, and many more.

Originally from Paris, Riko discovered electronic music in the mid 90’s. Within a short time he was into the parties in his region always in the search of new sounds.

In 2003 with some friends he bought his first turntables and a sound system. The Teklicit Crew was born ! At that time the parties were non stop, but each one was unique. The group’s reputation continued to grow and Riko quickly became known for his original danceflloor style sound, a mixture of old school style and an explosive tribecore. More and more ravers came to dance to his mix set and the download on the website www.teklicit.net went shooting up! It is in this atmosphere that he met up again with his childhood friend, Floxytek, who inspired him to go into production and CAM.

In 2006 he brought out his first maxi on the Kryzalide label and was quickly contacted by influential record labels such as freestyle listen records, Undergroud Records, ES Prod; Skwat Records; Astrofonik...

In 2008 with the arrival of Billx in the crew, Riko and the other menbers of the group, decided to create their own label. Teklicit Marsatek Records came into being!

Using this experience he then went on the collaborate with other major players of the undergound scene, thus, allowing for the making of coproductions such as: Chien de la casse, La Potion Magique, Teknikal voodka; Paranoize. For some of these productions he was involved as artistic director.

At the same time he was performing with flair live sets aroud Europe: Italy; Spain; Germany; Poland; Cezch Republic...

In 2011 he joined the Electrobooking team who now manage all his performances. He continues to produce numerous maxis and, regularly shares the billboard with the principal performers on the European dancefloors...
