Loaded 2 of Daniel's samples the Hang drum and the bass guitar into Ableton's drum rack and used the Max4Live Turing Machine to trigger them randomly. Using 'slice to new midi track' I cut up the piano sample to another instance of Drum rack and also used Turing Machine to trigger that, slowly adjusting the amount of randomness so that certain loops would repeat as I was rendering it out to audio. Finally, adding a high pad sound from Arturia SQ80V

A new sound for Radio Norge launched across Norway today, based on our RFM 2021 package. Imaging Director at Bauer Media, Lars Petter Berg, calls their new ReelWorld jingles "the vitamin injection we needed!"

This week's Disquiet Junto prompt was to create a piece of music that you might hear as you wait to enter a therapist's office.

I knew I wanted some inoffensive "waiting" music that repeated so much that it faded into the background. I also wanted to recreate the white noises machines that are used to block out conversations. I also added to binaural waves that beat at the "gamma" frequency, which allegedly boost self-awareness and problem-solving (I think? For the life of me I can't find the web page I got that info from). 



I used some sidechain gating and flipped sidechain gating to the white noise play with and against the percussion and before I knew it, I had a 3 minute song.

Soy Protein Processing Plant (disquiet0517)

I combined undermulden's Coast at Møns Klint (disquiet0516) and Krakenkraft's Outside In: A Washing Machine [disquiet0517].  Both feature water.

undermulden's track was left alone and mixed down a bit.  Krakenkraft's track was duplicated several times, rearranged for a more consistent rhythm, and made a bit louder.  The washing machine "arrangement" gets louder as the track progresses, particularly at the 27 second mark.
