Sorry about the sound quality on this one though, my own Zoom audio recorder's SD  card failed on me on the night...so this audio came from the main desk back-up from the night..it sounds a bit narrow and mono-ish. Enjoy!  :)

This is the first CHAT Podcast since early 2022 and it is my most personal one so far. 

This Podcast tells the story of the challenges that my wife and I faced with bringing a child into the world. 

In 2018, we were told that we would never have kids naturally and that IVF would be our only option. I had some health issues after that and was told that my chances of becoming a father were basically non-existent. 

In 2020, after further investigations into why I was infertile I was diagnosed with a 5 inch tumour in my left kidney, which was cancerous. I had my left kidney removed.

This tumour was the reason for my infertility. 

This Podcast chronicles the most challenging period of my life. 

From infertility, cancer, failed cycles of IVF, miscarriage, and the shame, guilt and anxiety that I experienced throughout this time. 

We were told we would never have kids naturally, but we did. 

I want to share our story with you as I know that a lot of people will have gone through the same experiences that we did, and I want to raise awareness of these issues, as well as encouraging people to take every step necessary to remain healthy and to hopefully start a family of their own.

I had so much fun attending this years Luminosity Beach Festival in Holland, so much so that I adopted a Pink Flamingo called Flugelhorn. 

Alongside attending the renowned 4 day Trance festival, I was also selected to play at the Afterparty. Which was a little bit crazy and a complete roadblock on the Saturday. Apologies to the disappointed people who came down and couldn't get in when I was playing (I'll make it up to you Daniel and Bryony). 

For this set I played tunes that sum up the festival for me and it contains music from the likes of Jon O'Bir,  David Forbes, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Solarstone, John O'Callaghan, Daniel Kandi, Ferry Corsten, Vincent De Moor and many more. I hope you enjoy the set as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Big shout out to all the new and old faces I met over there, and for those of you who said I was crazy for driving there and back, you are absolutely right. There aren't many festivals that I would drive 16 hours each way for however, Luminosity is one of them.
