Here is a preview of my debut release for John O'Callaghan's very prestigious trance label 'Subculture', as debuted by Aly & Fila at #ASOT700 in Melbourne and Sydney this weekend!

The track has been inspired by the very famous photo of these 'Pillars of Creation' which was taken by the NASA Hubble Space Telescope, and re-taken very recently. I wanted the track to represent a space mission that was on it's way to the outer rims of our galaxy to see these gigantic pillars of gas. The journey would be very turbulent on the way there but in my head I wanted to create an 'epic' sounding and emotional piece of music that would really suit the feelings that you would experience as you looked out of the spacecraft's windows, as these massive natural phenomena appeared right in front of you. Geeky I know haha..but this was my whole thought process behind it all.. 

It was also heavily inspired by amazing films like 'Interstellar' and film soundtrack composers like the musical genius Hans Zimmer, and also of course influenced by the 'BXR' sound!
