A Scavenger is a person who searches for and collects discarded items. Skavenga Sound (Pronounced: Scaven-Jah Sound) Is a  Hardcore Dancehall Sound Based In New York. While starting up the sound system years ago, determined to start up this idea, we searched for old equipment and speaker boxes along with turntables and records hence the name "Skavenga". Growing up around people that understood music (like Twin Star Sound & Mountain Top Productions Outta Brooklyn) we decided to pick up this hobby. As years progressed we began to show more interest in dancehall (especially in dubplates and sound clashes) and slowly but surely plan to build our sound name worldwide!. . . .#TEAMSKAVENGA!
