This is an interview I had with the American violinist Joshua Bell in December of 2011.  He was getting ready to play the Tchaikovksy Violin Concerto with the New York Philharmonic and his good friend, Daniel Harding.  We spoke about the concerto plus Mr. Bell's practice habits, his relationship with the Philharmonic and how his interpretation of the piece has evolved over the years.  (Off-mic, we also bonded over both being products of the Midwest.)
