After a long experience together as DJs and producers , Pablito and Nicola Romeo , owner and general manager of the Frankfurter label konzept[:]musique , both agree to meet under a single identity the "DRAG & DROP" project. They are currently the resident dj of the famous Frankfurter series of festivals "We Are Together" which takes place regularly at the famous club "Tanzhaus West". We must not overlook the fact that they have played in the club of global importance such as the legendary "Cocoon Club" and magnificent events such as "World Music Dome" that takes place at the impressive " Commerzbank Arena " one of the biggest stadiums in Frankfurt am Main . Also they were guests , they played and were interviewed in the famous German radio YOU.FM in the historic radioshow "you.fm clubnight ", on air for more than 10 years, conducted by the renowned German dj Franksen which featured DJs like Sven Väth , Nick Curly , Markus Fix , to name just a few. They were also reviewed by the famous magazine " DJmag " that talked about one of their songs hired by Berlin label " kindisch " Get Physical sublabel.

Continuing a very special and fruitful relationship, Catz N’ Dogz’s always captivating Pets Recordings recruits close friend KiNK for his first ever release on the label. It finds the Bulgarian live specialist and techno innovator serving up a fantastic new cut and comes with a remix from raw American talent Truncate. 

KiNK, of course, is known for his mesmeric and logic defying live shows, his acerbic releases on labels like Macro– who released his excellent recent album, Self Destruction – and Ovum, as well as his passion for weird sounds. KiNK is also the producer behind Rachel Row’s brace of hits for Pets and the prominent vocalist once again features here with some stunning work. 

That continues on his track here, ‘Fantasia’, which is a brooding and slow burning track with a synth line that goes from rubbery to acidic. Around it, patient percussion, deep, warm kicks and breathy female vocals add a sense of sexual tension then finally, KiNK’s trademark and colourful synth freakiness takes over. It’s the sort of track that will lock in dancefloors and mesmerise them for the duration. 

The remix comes from Truncate, who runs his own eponymously entitled label, releases on 50Weapons and produces deep, textured house and techno.  His version is more urgent and techno leaning, with paranoid siren like hooks, scurrying basslines and lots of ravey warehouse intent. 

This standout release – which comes with 10 vinyl-only locked grooves - once again confirms KiNK to be a truly unique craftsmen.
