As summer 2023 reaches its conclusion, and ahead of a busy stretch across Labor Day weekend, Markus Schulz took some time to reflect on the season; weaving one of his signature two hour studio journeys on Global DJ Broadcast to mark the occasion. On the show, he features Coldharbour world premieres from ReDub, Freak E Beatz and Mike EFEX, along with album showcases from anamé, RNX and Anyma, the playlist addition features and much more. 

In the clubs this weekend, you can catch Markus playing live at The Back Alley in Calgary on Friday and at Mint in San Francisco on Saturday, before rounding out Labor Day celebrations at Soundcheck in Washington D.C. on Sunday.

This weekend marks a special moment for Markus Schulz and Adina Butar, with their first musical collaboration since welcoming baby Liam to the world, Waves of High, receiving its full single release on Friday; along with the unveiling of the music video. It receives a showcase from Markus on the latest Global DJ Broadcast, and also features new music from Anyma, Matt Fax, Guy Gerber, Swedish House Mafia, Marsh and more. Coldharbour's ReDub joins for the guestmix in the second hour, highlighting the release of his new single Come with Me.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, as Markus Schulz checks in from Miami for what will be the final regular edition of Global DJ Broadcast for 2023. On the show, he showcases the world premiere of what will be the Transmission event theme for 2024; Elysium, produced by Daxson. He also features new music from Above & Beyond, Anske, OCATA, Sunny Lax, DIM3NSION and more. In the second hour, Robert Nickson joins Markus for the guestmix, as he celebrates the release of his debut Coldharbour Recordings original, Soul Doubt.

Next week, Markus will present an In Search of Sunrise 19 release special, joined by fellow contributors Ilan Bluestone and Daniel Wanrooy to preview the compilation, ahead of its release on Friday December 1. The wait is finally over, and the 19th instalment of the heralded In Search of Sunrise series has arrived. Markus Schulz proudly assumes responsibility for his sixth straight edition, and provides a comprehensive preview of what you can expect on In Search of Sunrise 19; as well as delving into the archives and showcasing memorable flashback pieces from recent and distant ISOS editions. 

Markus also provides showcase previews of artists participating alongside him in the inaugural edition of Transmission: Elysium, taking place in Arnhem, the Netherlands this Saturday.

For the second hour, Markus hands over to the two other protagonists behind In Search of Sunrise 19, with Ilan Bluestone (disc 2) and Daniel Wanrooy (disc 3) each providing 30 minute guestmixes to showcase some of the sounds contained in their entries.
