In a city which has played such an important role in dance music's history, Markus Schulz was privileged to continue his special affinity towards the annual Amsterdam Dance Event through his anticipated open to close solo set experience at Melkweg - an event with a sold out attendance for a seventh successive outing. The World Tour features a 2 hour portion of highlights from the night for those who couldn't be there, and provides an opportunity for those who were to relive the magic again.

Fans in Europe can catch Markus this weekend playing live at Ministry of Fun in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia on Friday, and then at Proton the Club in Stuttgart, Germany on Saturday. And if you missed the announcement, Markus is thrilled once again to be playing open to close at Avalon in Los Angeles this New Year's Eve. We hope to see you there.

Markus Schulz - World Tour: ADE 2023 in Amsterdam

It is a period of significant mix compilation releases, so it was only appropriate for Solarstone to join Markus Schulz on the Global DJ Broadcast this week, as he celebrated the milestone of his Pure Trance Volume 10 release. Markus also showcases an upcoming world premiere from Anske, as well as featuring new music from MORTEN, Cristoph, Matt Fax, Joyce Muniz, BLR and more.

The show also made the announcement that In Search of Sunrise 19 is on the way on Friday December 1, mixed by Markus Schulz, Ilan Bluestone and Daniel Wanrooy. The compilation can be pre-saved now by following the links on Markus' social media.

Markus makes the short trip to Daer at the Hard Rock in Fort Lauderdale, Florida this Saturday. All counting down to his open to close New Year's Eve experience taking place at Avalon in Los Angeles.

The wait is finally over, and the 19th instalment of the heralded In Search of Sunrise series has arrived. Markus Schulz proudly assumes responsibility for his sixth straight edition, and provides a comprehensive preview of what you can expect on In Search of Sunrise 19; as well as delving into the archives and showcasing memorable flashback pieces from recent and distant ISOS editions. 

Markus also provides showcase previews of artists participating alongside him in the inaugural edition of Transmission: Elysium, taking place in Arnhem, the Netherlands this Saturday.

For the second hour, Markus hands over to the two other protagonists behind In Search of Sunrise 19, with Ilan Bluestone (disc 2) and Daniel Wanrooy (disc 3) each providing 30 minute guestmixes to showcase some of the sounds contained in their entries.

The final World Tour edition for 2017 on the Global DJ Broadcast takes Markus Schulz to Brooklyn in New York, and showcases the highlights of his debut performance at Schimanski on Saturday night for the NYC trancefamily and beyond. 

Moving into December means preparations for the year-end celebrations here on the braodcast are underway. Next week, Markus will present the annual GDJB Year in Review - showcasing the tracks which connected especially with the fans this year. In two weeks, the most popular World Tour of the year will be presented, and the final broadcast of the year will be very special - the next in the Global DJ Broadcast Four Seasons series - the annual Classics Showcase.
