Beginning summer with the emotional journey of the Sunrise Set, the midpoint is traditionally highlighted by our annual Coldharbour Day celebrations. It's a small way for our Coldharbour family to say thanks to everyone who supports the label, and those responsible for creating the tracks we cherish. 

This tradition is another passion project for me, with a four hour journey made especially for the occasion. It's a continual weave of current favorites, a few nods to the future, and opening up the Coldharbour archives; with the thrill of reliving, and sometimes even rediscovering beautiful melodies we may have forgotten.

Throughout the Global DJ Broadcast calendar, Markus Schulz strives to go a step further by creating a selection fo specialist themed concept mixes; reflecting the broad palette of his sound. The newest of the seven themes is dedicated to the high tempo and uplifting feelings of trance, titled as Dream Sequence. Now in its third iteration, this particular concept returns to mark the dying embers of summer, placing the theater of the mind above the clouds to seek a perfect view.

Ahead of a long overdue trip to Argentina, Markus Schulz checked in to the Coldharbour studios in Miami for another edition of the Global DJ Broadcast. On the show this week, he presents new music from Myon, Ilan Bluestone, Tim Clark and Anyma, along with a showcase of his Down the Rabbit Hole remix of Rapid Eye's classic Circa-Forever, being released next week. In the second hour, Markus is joined by Kris O'Neil for the guestmix, who recently released Speelplaats on Coldharbour, and also premieres his upcoming single Victorious.

This weekend marks a special moment for Markus Schulz and Adina Butar, with their first musical collaboration since welcoming baby Liam to the world, Waves of High, receiving its full single release on Friday; along with the unveiling of the music video. It receives a showcase from Markus on the latest Global DJ Broadcast, and also features new music from Anyma, Matt Fax, Guy Gerber, Swedish House Mafia, Marsh and more. The country of Poland is among the important legacy building blocks in Markus Schulz's career, so it's perhaps no surprise that it is the subject of the latest instalment in his World Tour series. Performing a signature eight hour open to close solo set live from X-Demon nightclub in Wroclaw, the highlights of the night are available in the latest podcast.

It's a busy and extensive weekend for Markus ahead, playing at Mantra in Jakarta, Indonesia on Friday, before heading to the Heineken Silver Music Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Saturday. Following a whirlwind weekend across Asia and a 12+ hour set at Stereo in Montreal, Markus Schulz checks back in from home in Miami for another studio edition of Global DJ Broadcast. The countdown is on to Amsterdam Dance Event, and indeed the countdown is on to the next single from The Rabbit Hole Circus, which will be Till We Fade with Emma Hewitt. In a city which has played such an important role in dance music's history, Markus Schulz was privileged to continue his special affinity towards the annual Amsterdam Dance Event through his anticipated open to close solo set experience at Melkweg - an event with a sold out attendance for a seventh successive outing. The World Tour features a 2 hour portion of highlights from the night for those who couldn't be there, and provides an opportunity for those who were to relive the magic again.

Fans in Europe can catch Markus this weekend playing live at Ministry of Fun in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia on Friday, and then at Proton the Club in Stuttgart, Germany on Saturday. And if you missed the announcement, Markus is thrilled once again to be playing open to close at Avalon in Los Angeles this New Year's Eve. We hope to see you there.
