Set for release on 27th March, Molécule debuts to Lumière Noire with ‘A:R’, a five-track EP that explores texture, environment and analogue expression through deeply immersive electronic composition.
Produced between Paris and Cancale, the release captures the French artist’s continued fascination with sound as both atmosphere and narrative, whilst balancing experimental intention with club functionality.
Molécule has built his reputation on immersive creative processes, often composing in direct response to physical environments and recorded sound sources. His work has taken him from the Arctic Circle to the open ocean, capturing natural sonic material and transforming it into electronic form.
With ‘A:R’, he continues that trajectory, focusing on tactile production and emotional resonance rather than genre constraint.

As promised, and as a thank you for your passion, support and dedication throughout the year, a Christmas treat for you. The full ten hour open to close solo set, live from the cathedral of Stereo in Montreal, from Canadian Thanksgiving weekend in October 2017.

Its great to have you here back again for another JOOF gathering/session, last week was a much needed therapy session seeing so many happy faces from around the world chatting and uniting together as one amazing community. I’m really needing this again due to yet another challenging week in this world that we never want to see again in our lifetime. 
As usual I had no idea where this musical journey was heading and in the final hour you got some Turbo mix action. Unfortunately Facebook kickoff the stream on the final track, so things anded a little abruptly.

JOOF Sessions 007.  Euphoria White label level 2 remake.

It’s frightening to think we’re now into the seventh week of this world situation, at the very start of my new venture into streaming I made some technical errors meaning that the first JOOF Sessions was broadcast in mono and why it was never saved. This triggered a memory of my mix compilation Euphoria While label level 2 released in 2003, the mastering engineer made a huge mistake and CD1 and the final press was in mono and not realised until it was released. The label went bankrupt years ago, so impossible to get any repressed and its something that’s stayed with me all these years. 

17 years later I want to bring this back to life in stereo as it was always intended. Thought I could mix the album again in my studio and post on socials, I thought it would be more fun that we do this live together so that we can all witness the rebirth of this iconic album. This time around however, it won’t be two separate mixes CD1 & 2, for the first time I’ll mix it all together as one seamless mix.
