Two of the fine young (moody)men behind the counter at Peckham's Rye Wax have done the honourable thing and provided everyone with a true winter warmer. "No Hurry" may invoke taking it slow, but the choppy hats, gentle keyboard lead, loping bassline and - you guessed it - beckoning female vocal found on the track amount to something subtly sensual.

It's Not too dissimilar to Adesse Versions or Dan Shake, a pair of artists who emerged like a vision from last December's biting winds and greyscale skies, FYI Chris' 10" is soft-tone, modal house music; simple as.

Samba Kun is an electronic music artist, born and raised in Lusaka, Zambia. A move to China in 2010 became a watershed moment in the young music enthusiast's life. It was there that he started djing at parties he organized with friends. This opened up Samba Kun to playing at clubs, events and parties in and around Chengdu in 2014 and 2015, including a winter residency at upmarket club Soho, gigs at underground electronic music venues such as Here We Go and Magma as well as many parties and a diversity tour with leading events company UrTurn Events. 
A strong underground electronic music scene in Chengdu helped Samba Kun develop his passion for electronic music. A move back to Zambia towards the end of 2015 saw Samba primarily focus on refining his art of djing and working to paint Lusaka with house and techno through unique audio and visual experiences designed to challenge the status quo.
His dj sets see him lay down seductive tracks from the worlds of house and techno as well as gems in between.

After 8 years of producing, since the age of 13, Mark Wells has found steady ground with successful releases on Nurvous, Mother, Alive & Purp & Soul. Low swinging drums and masterfully places vocals consistently create his trademark sound. Infectious rhythm and hard hitting bass lines make sure his music stands out from the crowd. Marks ability to create a stand out song is impeccable, with releases such as “In she came” and “Drivin me” guaranteed to keep a dance floor moving. His DJ sets mirror his production with energetic performances. In 2012 Mark cut his teeth remixing UK bands “Kid British” and “We Humans” proving his versatility and creativity, in turn he now continues to be called upon for remixes, more recently by legendary house institution Strictly Rhythm. Summer 2013 saw Mark signed to none other than Pete Tong's FFRR Recordings. The track released in June 2014, was championed by Pete on Radio 1 and by Ben Pearce in high profile festival sets around Europe. Expect to hear much more of Marks music land in a big way in 2015.
